Bengaluru has broken transport infrastructure, zero public transport, no buses, extortionate auto drivers, massive traffic jams everywhere, water issues, stalled flyovers, a metro that is taking forever and a suburban rail that has not started for 40 years now. It has bad air quality, rampant corruption, unaffordable housing and a neighbouring state that is taking blue chip projects away from them It is at the risk of losing its status as a tech hub in the age of AI There are so many issues that Bengaluru and Karnataka as a state is facing But for some reason our awesome legislators actually dedicated time in the state assembly to debate how they can score free tickets for a domestic cricket tournament in which teams are owned by private players. Not only that, they actually followed up and got them If only they showed such dedication for projects that will benefit us as people

However, their resources are primarily used for a heavily commercial purpose, under the guise of public use at a cheap cost. Free passes were already issued to many, and the MLAs have proposed and been accepted by the association on this matter. So, how can this be considered undemocratic?

This is a total abuse of power, undemocratic and brings shame to Kannadigas that their MLA’s are doing this. @siddaramaiah @CMofKarnataka

Chinnaswamy Stadium is 16.32 acres leased to KSCA since 1969. Rent is only Rs 19,000 per year. Unchanged for 50+ years. This is not fair pricing of public property. Taking advantage of this congress led Karnataka govt has decided to build a dedicated section for MLAs and give IPL tickets to MLAs . All of this while our state foregoes crores in revenue !! The rent should be fair. The additional money used for welfare of our ppl and tickets should go to govt schoolchildren and not MLA’s.

A Chief Minister should never indulge in such a low level of self-boasting.

While Karnataka battles massive debt & farmer distress, Congress CM @siddaramaiah is happily gifting another ₹10 crore of our taxpayers' money to Priyanka Gandhi's Wayanad constituency in Kerala. Ahead of Kerala polls, this isn't a humanitarian gesture, clearly it's servitude to the Gandhi high command. Kannadigas' hard-earned money should build Karnataka first, not buy votes in a neighbouring state.
