@Jaye_lor Hmm, not really. I think it's because it's the thing that's easiest to catch attention on social media. Most architecture firms still do proper work/drawings.

I find it fascinating that a lot of younger Nigerian architects don’t know this. While visualization is a big part of conveying your design ideas, don’t forget it’s only a tool — not the job itself.
I design million dollar homes every week and 95% of my work is done on AutoCad.

But check the furniture, 2 fans give a hint about the heat in the room
That bed won't be accepted by some sec.schools in their dormitory

@weeblackirish Again you are comparing apples to oranges. Rent in Yaba is high on average due to a multiplicity of factors. A fully furnished apartment might be worth that 3m price tag.

I'm sure a level 13 civil servant does earn that and you get all that for serving time in prison

The design The Outcome 🏠: The good village by @OddSpaceConsult For @joingoodco 📍: off Admiralty way, Lekki phase 1, Lagos. This is months of research, design and multiple iterations finally coming to life. We explored at least 10 façade choice iterations considering aesthetic appeal & functionality before we finally landed on this one. This is evidence that climate-conscious and context-driven Architecture goes beyond just residential developments.

Stair hall will be flooded with a skylight.
In proportion, the Guest bedroom is 17sqm. The closet place was added, but 20sqm is not huge.
My headroom determines the amount of risers or am I missing something.
No law said lounge can't be placed at extreme end.

-Guest room is huge (20m square)! - Stair hall will be very dark - Too many steps (19) be4 reaching to the next floor. - Lounge isn't suppose to be placed at the extreme end of the building. -You've not put window in a lot of ur spaces[kt &BQ].

I shared a photo to show that land size isn’t an excuse for zero greenery.
But agenda must agend.
The message was ignored — people focused on the design and called it unsustainable.
So now, I’ve taken my time to design one on the same plot size.

I get the constraints — land cost & size, client demands. But that’s not an excuse for zero greenery This is a 20×10 plot with space for a tree, greenery, and 2 cars It shows that even within tight constraints, good design can still prioritise sustainability and livability
