Bro literally made posts telling people if they didn't like Smile. They were racists, bigots and all the other buzzwords. Not to mention, the dude also tried his hand at harassing female VAs for characters he wanted, but he couldn't possibly outperform them on. Don't pretend like he didn't try and antagonise the playerbase, and then when it backfired, he cried victim. If you are gonna be an asshole you need to be ready for other people to be assholes back.

I just beat the story trial for Valigarmanda and... Honestly I'm glad I didn't stream the FFXIV Dawntrail story. I haven't felt this disinterested in an FFXIV expansion since... Well, since Dawntrail haha. I also feel like this exact wording showing up fifty times also adds to how much of a chore this expac feels so far.

The character is disliked because she's everywhere, all the time, all at once. She doesn't know anything yet has the solution to everything. She can't fight except for when she can. She's seasick, except she's not. She literally surpasses you at a couple of points, so we are here.. why? She has zero drive outside of "happiness and peace," which is a great starting point. It's not so great when you repeat that sentiment repeatedly 500 hours in. Where's the growth, bro? The character was exhausting and gave none of the other cast any reason to be there. We've used Linkpearls for God knows how long, but suddenly, in this expansion, no one can call you directly. They have to call her so she can relay stuff to you. On the VA No one gave a shit about the VA until those people pulled IRL politics into it. The dude also has really bad takes. Trying to set up witchhunts on female VAs, making blanket claims like "If you dont like Smile, you're a racist," Like, come on now. Come on.

I'mma be real with you. A majority of the people who "genuinely" hate her and spout off shit like "Woke Lmao" are just very vocal transphobes. They only dislike her because her English VA is trans. That's literally it.

I mean, I'd like to bring some pain every once in a while with some seriously super firepower. But sure, glaze over the post and pick at one word. God forbid people have a different kind of fun.

@_Lizard_Lizard_ @JustPlants31 The Lumberer AT cannon is very good, it’s 3 shots to the dome at most to kill a spore burst titan which is tankier than a normal titan. It also has twice the ammo capacity of the patriot’s rocket launcher making it an insanely good option for assaulting nests.
