There's a new thing kicking about in mental health law land, as result of the 2025 amendments to the Mental Health Act 1983 - It's called "supervised discharge", something which will come to police attention when patients breach conditions related to community supervision. 1/

A new blog will be out tomorrow morning explaining various ins and outs, but it relates to situations that will be a difficult combination - - Relatively rare. - High risk. The potential for officers and call handlers to simply not have heard of this is significant. 3/3

@ClaireMorrison6 @ScotRail I used to get train from Markinch to Dundee, was cheaper to book ticket from Kirkcaldy. The conducter made me buy a new ticket as I had got on at Markinch not Kirkcaldy.

I was looking at getting the train from Dalgety Bay to Dundee today and discovered that if i start my journey one stop further away in Inverkeithing (3min journey time) it is £7 cheaper!! Whats that all about @ScotRail ?

Today I ended the longest shift I have ever done. In total with sleepovers 58hrs long. Over the 2 nights I managed 3hrs sleep. This is the mess staffing in social care can be.

Chatting over dinner about a sleeveen/slíghbhín and no one knew the word (I’ve failed as an Irish mammy. I surely should have been using this word more), the husband is Dutch and son too young. I need some pop culture references of a #sleeveen.

The level of job losses being suggested at Dundee University is simply unacceptable. I'm seeking meetings with the unions, university, SFC and @scotgov on what more can be done to protect jobs. Including whether more financial support is needed to avoid compulsory redundancies.

Total gutted to have not managed to get tickets for Alex Warren in Glasgow for me & daughter. Disgusted at the price of resale tickets, £626 for 2 when they were only £40 each.
