Just published v0.6 of @getpolyscope You can now toggle between unified and split diff views We also fixed a couple of bugs, added some better mobile usage experience for the terminal, and improved the file search performance. getpolyscope.com

@marcelpociot @getpolyscope Here it is. My ssh key is added to my profile and I have checked access rights to the organisation/repository. Manually I’m able to interact with the repo.

Finally gave @thewitcher 3 a real shot and oh boy.. tried it before but never gave it a fair chance. Went back with a different mindset and now I can't stop. The graphics, sounds, music, story, side quests.. everything just hits right. 🫣

Laravel tip. If you have a DB column with money and store it as DECIMAL, in Eloquent model you should probably cast to 'decimal:2'. Then, when GETTING the value, you always show correct monetary numbers like `10.00` instead of `10` or `10.0`.

Laravel/PHP tip. Did you know Faker method `bothify()`? - ? characters are replaced with a random letter - # characters - with a random digit - * characters - with either a random letter or a random digit Example for car plate numbers. Link to docs: #bothify" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">fakerphp.org/formatters/num…

@simonhamp Very cool! I think this was a huge blocker for other people to even consider nativephp

@zepfietje Mind sharing what your CSS file looks like? Seems like going back in a circle, throwing away the benefits of tailwind again. Or is that primarily for your filament themes, where you need to override filament classes?

Okay, I found the perfect way to write Blade + Alpine.js components. 👇 Blade, CSS, and JS, all grouped in a single component folder. Can’t imagine doing it any other way now…

@nickpoulos @taylorotwell @hugosaintemarie Well the reason behind is: :fresh doesbn't hurt if you use an empty Database bus won't fail the migration if the table already exists. Because: it cleans up before - not sure if it drops all tables or goes through migration files which would be smarter :)

After watching how many commands @hugosaintemarie had to run to setup a Laravel app on his machine I immediately shipped this new setup command to Laravel's composer.json file. A good starting point but you can customize it for your own application. - clone project - composer setup - composer dev 💆‍♂️

@zepfietje Couldn’t you just have a checkbox with a default setting that the majority of users prefer (in this case by default toggled on). Then you have both cases taken care of and you are not adding unnecessary friction for the majority of users.

@ganyicz Kinda cool but the real power of modern JS is a React ecosystem. So all that we really need is an easy way to mix livewire and react.

Using separate Filament panels/guards for admins & users. How do you handle policies per panel/guard? 🤔

@MinasyanManuk Nice, so you just place them under a different directory like Policies/Web/<policyName>?

@_LukasFrey I have implemented the guessPolicyNamesUsing method, and based on the guard, I discover separate policies. #policy-discovery" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">laravel.com/docs/12.x/auth…
