fwiw, the meaningful capability is no longer really concentrated in the weights it'll become increasingly obvious that the evals of today, tomorrow, and probably the future that most people actually care about are already possible by the current crop of frontier open models

why solana still fails? and wtf is @raikucom changing ? you'll be shocked lemme explain the whole game !! before digging into raiku, i thought solana's biggest problem was congestion. turns out congestion is just the symptom. 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿. validators simply process whatever reaches them first. there's no way to reserve future blockspace, no forward commitment from validators, and no distinction between a $50 meme coin swap and a $50M institutional settlement. 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑠𝑎𝑚𝑒 𝑞𝑢𝑒𝑢𝑒. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝘅 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀. they only improve your chances of landing in a block. they never guarantee an outcome. because solana uses local fee markets, different programs compete in different auctions but every transaction is still racing without certainty. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱. → spam transactions → hit multiple RPCs → retry until something lands that makes sense for one app. across the network, it's a disaster. more retries → more congestion more congestion → more failures more failures → even more retries ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝘂𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻. 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚌𝚝𝚒𝚟𝚎 𝚝𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚜𝚊𝚌𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚜 liquidations, arb, cancel-replace orders. have to land in the next slot or the opportunity is gone. 𝚜𝚌𝚑𝚎𝚍𝚞𝚕𝚎𝚍 𝚝𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚜𝚊𝚌𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚜 fund settlements, vault rebalances, oracle updates, RWA transfers. don't need speed. they need certainty at a specific time. 𝑡𝑜𝑑𝑎𝑦, 𝑠𝑜𝑙𝑎𝑛𝑎 𝑡𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑡𝑠 𝑏𝑜𝑡ℎ 𝑒𝑥𝑎𝑐𝑡𝑙𝑦 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑠𝑎𝑚𝑒. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗸𝘂 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴. instead of changing solana, it adds the missing coordination layer. the 𝚊𝚌𝚔𝚎𝚛𝚖𝚊𝚗𝚗 𝚗𝚎𝚝𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚔 sits between applications and validators. → 𝙰𝙾𝚃 𝚊𝚞𝚌𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚜 reserve future blockspace for scheduled execution → 𝙹𝙸𝚃 𝚊𝚞𝚌𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚜 reserve the next available slot for latency-sensitive transactions instead of hitting the public queue, transactions route directly through validator sidecars. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗰𝗿𝘆𝗽𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗰 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝗽𝘁. if a validator breaks the commitment → onchain slashing. the sidecar runs on its own keypair. never touches validator keys. 𝑘𝑖𝑙𝑛, 𝑓𝑖𝑔𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡, 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑘𝑒, 𝑐ℎ𝑜𝑟𝑢𝑠 𝑜𝑛𝑒, 𝑏𝑙𝑜𝑐𝑘𝑑𝑎𝑒𝑚𝑜𝑛 𝑎𝑙𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑦 𝑟𝑢𝑛𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑖𝑡 𝑜𝑛 𝑡𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑛𝑒𝑡. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. more stake running the sidecar → stronger guarantees → better reliability → institutional-grade execution ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ people keep saying solana just needs to be faster. 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗰𝗲. solana already has speed. 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑖𝑡'𝑠 𝑏𝑒𝑒𝑛 𝑚𝑖𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑖𝑠 𝑐𝑒𝑟𝑡𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑦. @raikucom @duckk9x
