In a recent live stream I was explaining the reason why I flew back home from Korea. I explained that I was sick and wanted to prioritize my health. I stated “I think it may have been the Chinese pollution that blows over to Korea”. I have since received a lot of messages from the Chinese community regarding this. I’d like to apologize for my comment and how that could hurt people’s feelings. It was an extremely unnecessary comment and I can see how it can come off as disrespectful and distasteful. In no way was I trying paint China in a bad light. Again I apologize to anyone this affected and will make sure that going forward, I am more mindful with what I say on stream.

@Aaron_buh @CS2_Sam @kyedae China is not the only country to the north of Korea, it is not even adjacent to Korea, the pollution has various reasons just like the race problems and considering Korea is also famous for making cars. I’m sure you realize it too :)

zekken is sleeping right now. To clarify: his words on stream were about the "Chinese VCT League" (VCT CN) and not China as a country or people from China. And we are very sorry to all the people in China if it was misinterpreted. It's more of a cultural/translation issue, as by using "Hater", zekken simply meant that he doubt the VCT CN Region can win the matches he was predicting on, or the Masters, due to their previous results - and nothing more. Just like people are usually saying the same thing for EU, NA, EMEA, Americas, Pacific etc, but everyone is usually calling the VCT CN league "China" in the Valorant community.
