It deserved it as much as I am not a Paul Simon fan. He was nominated for Album of the Year. Also nominated: Whitney Houston (Whitney) Dolly Parton (Trio) Prince (Sign O' The Times) U2 (Joshua Tree) which won He was not nominated for Song of the Year. That went to "Somewhere Out There" - While I don't agree with this one it was a nice song. Best R&B Vocal Performance, Male Stevie Wonder (Skeletons (single)) Good vocal but not amazing. Jonathan Butler (Lies (single)) nah Wilson Pickett (In The Midnight Hour (track)) Damn good Smokey Robinson (Just to See Her) damn good vocal and Won the Grammy Jackson was nominated for "Bad" (single). Good vocal but not his best. Man in the Mirror was a better vocal. And Jackson was not nominated for Best Concept Music Video. That would have been "Bad" if it were nominated.
