@bucksaucee Technology vs society. I think people see and expect to see the continued technological advancement. However continued social advancement is harder to define / see when many view ‘the old ways’ as a regression and just as many view our current advancement as deterioration.

Today marks the beginning of another trip around the sun for me. And I am fundamentally happy. N loves me and I love her (almost 20 years together, 24/7). We have two wonderful daughters who are full of energy. We are all in excellent health and keep ourselves active. We continue to make art with passion and work on new projects. Of course, sometimes I think that everything we have done for crypto art and the NFT world has not been well understood and appreciated. But we are patient and look to the future. Narratives change quickly. And as someone once said, a flower is beautiful even when no one is looking at it. Thank you to everyone who appreciates us and makes us feel good. We reciprocate. A hug to everyone, and be happy. Oh, and happy bday to Andy Warhol too!♥️

This morning I find a DM from a collector telling us that we should ask “Sorry” for the mistakes we have made [Reporting that it is not only his thought but also others]. I ask, what mistakes have we made, and he tells me for making Q+K and Open Editions. Basically we should apologize for making art. So here is our sincerest apology for experimenting, innovating, banging our heads off with hours and hours of drawing. Sorry that our art is liked and thousands of collectors have bought it. Sorry that in 2021 there was crazy hype with speculators of all kinds ruining the market [Yes, it's probably our fault sorry]. Sorry that we are still here making art and didn't run away with the bags. Sorry for all the mistakes we made, we certainly made some real ones along the way. Sorry if we are artists and we pissed off some speculators and didn't give in to blackmail and dirty games. Sorry for the outburst that is probably full of emotionalism. But I'm fucking sick of holding it in. Have a good day.

I’ve studied with a JW for two years, I have him to thank for helping me draw close to God’s word. Their zealousness and attempted adherence to scripture is admirable imo. (Romans 10:2) Now that I have a little knowledge, I’ve stuck around with the hope in mind that I can plant a seed that will take. My angle is not to go after certain core doctrine, but rather the false prophesying of the Watchtower. Their 1914 prophecy is largely dependent upon the fall of Jerusalem being in 607bc, rather than the widely agreed upon 587bc. It denies a mountain of archeological evidence and puts everything upon Jeremiah’s prophecy of 70 years being a literal 70 years (of the land lying desolate, not just serving Babylon) and King Cyrus anchor date of 539bc. I’ve turned him to Isaiah prophesying about Tyre (23:15, forgotten for 70 years), which the Watchtower literature acknowledges wasn’t a literal 70 years, along with interpretation of what defines the 70 years. Narrowing in on this area of scripture seems like an effective tactic, I can tell because he hasn’t consulted the other elders about it yet 😆 Regardless, I’ve met many loving and wonderful people that have no ill intent, rather many authentically well-intended people. The best you can do is have a genuine conversation and bring up your concerns with them directly, avoiding argumentative or confrontational tones. Many are leaving the organization, while maintaining their search for truth and proper discernment, shutting the door on them won’t make that happen…

@collinscrypto_ Had about two months of the intense dreaming. Just hit 8 months clean after 14 years and sleep is very consistent. It’s the first two weeks that are toughest, but it’s worth it. Easy to forgot how great normal dreaming is.
