@NalinisKitchen This whole argument of yours falls apart as soon as you said "mother gave birth to you" and guess what, who you need to become a mother? a MAN. Man gives u a seed so that you can bring the life so yes Men created a world, men built it and men are running it.

This is funny, how you said “men built the country” while your mother gave birth to you, sacrificed years of her life raising you, taught you how to speak, how to wash your own shit, how to walk, how to eat, and probably did a thousand things. I'm sure she won't remind you every day that she did all this. Why do you hate that women are getting a little safety and support? This is not some luxury treatment for fun. Every day women deal with harassment, stalking, touching, molestation, and rape threats. Many women are scared even to travel alone at night. If a small service helps even some women feel safer, why does that bother you so much? And this “men pay taxes, men built the country” line is pure nonsense. Women also work, earn money and pay taxes. And even women who stay at home are still working all day. Cooking, cleaning, raising kids, taking care of parents, managing the whole family. Do you think houses magically run on their own? Just because housework is unpaid does not mean it has no value. Government schemes are made for many groups all the time. Farmers get subsidies. Students get benefits. Senior citizens get discounts. Nobody cries this much about that. But the moment women get something for safety, suddenly people start screaming “our tax money.” Women are not objects, nor a burden. Men and women both contribute to society in different ways. सा विद्या या विमुक्तये।

Gujarat > Pink bus service for women > Women drivers only > Women passengers only > One year of travel for just 1000 rupees > Running at a loss because only 2-4 women travel on average Men pay taxes. Men built the country. But women get everything, and men get nothing.

@NalinisKitchen @venom1s Unpaid housework is still work. So tell me what tag u wnanagive to the saigice of men where they earn and spend whole mollah for the sake of family medical, kids education and for purchasing outfits for their wife. They left with zero penny. So is this not unpaid financial respon

Nobody is denying men struggle. Men work hard and deserve respect. But acting like women “get everything” while ignoring reality is ridiculous. In 2023 alone, India recorded 4.48 lakh crimes against women, including nearly 30,000 rape cases, 88,000+ kidnappings, and 83,000+ molestation cases. And these are only the reported numbers. And stop acting like women do nothing. Women work jobs, pay taxes, raise children, manage homes, care for elders, and hold families together. Unpaid housework is still work. Real equality means respecting both men’s and women’s struggles, not getting triggered every time women receive one small safety measure.

@NalinisKitchen @krishnaeyee Just lil not all women r same but we can't trust women bec tofa ay women can effortlessly frame any man in forged r case, and later walk without any repercussions if the case proven forged or acquittal or quashed

@krishnaeyee This is exactly what I’m trying to say. Not all men are the same, but we still cannot ignore the cases happening every day.

@postbynimish @DeepikaBhardwaj Lowest in the world. U indeed think it 😂. Bec in India it is compulsion to run marriage. If u get rid of that compulsion then u will get highest level of divorce rate

@DeepikaBhardwaj It is not thinking, the rate is a fact. No doubt in last some years divorces have increased a lot especially in metros it has increased by 35 % but that doesn't mean people shouldn't believe in institution of marriage. & still the divorce rate in India is lowest in world.

About 60+ divorce matters are listed on board in Bandra Family court everyday and the building has seven floors, so about 420 matters of divorce in a day at one court in Mumbai And people still think India's Divorce rate is just 1%

@therban14amit @DeepikaBhardwaj 1. 5 percent means the number rod pepl wo got divorce not people wo filled for it. Divirce batyel don't end overnight. May times it take 10 years and 15 years. And every year handful of people get divorce but a enormous number is struggling in court room

@DeepikaBhardwaj Metro cities have higher divorce rate recently and probably post Covid it has increased even further. Smaller cities and villages have zero to fraction of 1 percent divorce rate. Overall divorce rate in India doesn’t exceed 1.5 percent.

@DeepikaBhardwaj Mam, just a correction Mumbai is not India. You might have large number of cases in mumbai but not elsewhere. Maybe you would like to rethink.

@DeepikaBhardwaj 420 cases/day x 245 working days/year = ~1L cases/year That's still <1% of 12-13 mn, which is the married population statistic for Bombay The math you're using to make your point is not mathing

@DeepikaBhardwaj I don't believe 1% figure but it's still way less then western countries. I haven't seen a single divorce case in my friends and family circle. This is changing with new generation though.

Today on streets I noticed something. One woman was harassing one man. No one came forward for him. But if we do vice versa then all would beat that man. But here no one was coming forward. Tell me if we talk about equality then y merely men should get beating y not women too.
