Sobre el tema Kostyuk y que no salude a las rusas, quiero deciros una cosa ya que lo vengo viendo toda la semana, leyendo cientos de críticas hacia ella. Desde un sofá, con tu tele, tu internet, tu calefacción y tu comida es fácil opinar sobre otros, sin saber NADA de lo que realmente pasa. Las tenistas rusas no tienen la culpa de la guerra, obvio, pero hay que tener en cuenta algo que cambia todo: los deportistas representan a su país. Kostyuk representa a Ucrania, cualquier tenista rusa, a Rusia. ¿Y qué sucede con esto? Aunque ellas no lo quieran, pueden ser usadas como armas políticas. Las tenistas ucranianas no saludan a las rusas o bielorrusas porque el gobierno ucraniano tomó la decisión de no saludar a sus homónimos rusos al reunirse para negociar. Es su decisión. Se trata de respeto a su país. A su gente. Si Kostyuk diese la mano a una rusa, aunque Andreeva no tenga culpa de nada, que no la tiene, ¿sabéis lo que eso implicaría? Sería usado como imagen en contra de los suyos. Sería como insultar a su país. Además, su familia, que vive allí, serían muy mal vistos por su propia gente. Kostyuk, Svitolina o cualquier tenista son vistas como héroes. Eso provocaría problemas para sus familias y una ofensa a su gobierno y su ejército, que se juegan la vida por ellos. Solo un ucraniano sabe lo que se siente que vengan a invadir tu país tirando bombas y matando a tu gente. ¿Quién es nadie para decir cómo deben sentirse o actuar? Como seres humanos, con estas actitudes, lo que veo es cómo nos hemos deshumanizado por completo. Antes de opinar sobre si saluda o no saluda o insultarla por ello, la gente debería ponerse en su lugar y entender por qué hacen eso. Y aunque una rusa se nacionalice austriaca, sigue teniendo familia rusa y esa imagen también podría ser usada como os he dicho a nivel político. Las familias allí sufren cortes de luz durante gran parte del día. Imaginen lo que es vivir sin calefacción a 10 bajo cero. Les destruyen las casas, hay falta de suministros y viven amenazados. Los hombres, además, tienen prohibido salir del país. Piensa en cómo te sentirías tú si tus padres, abuelos, hermanos y amigos estuvieran en esas condiciones, y si no harías lo que fuera por evitarles más problemas y sufrimientos. Lo que debería es acabar esta maldita guerra para que volvamos a la normalidad de una vez y no tengamos que hablar de política tras la victoria de una tenista en un WTA 1000.
