Maharashtra is creating a supportive environment to develop gaming, the creator economy, and digital infrastructure. The state government is actively working to bridge the gap between creators and brands. Recently, discussions were held with YouTube CEO Neal Mohan, focusing on building a robust ecosystem for creators. In addition, the AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comics) policy is giving a boost to the creator economy. To expand formal education opportunities in content creation for students, the Indian Institute of Creative Technologies (IICT) has been established. Through a hub-and-spoke model, training and infrastructure will be made available, providing students with clear career pathways in gaming, animation, and visual effects. Regarding internet facilities in rural areas, the government plans to provide high-speed internet to every village, ensuring a lag-free experience for gamers. Maharashtra is developing 12 AVGC hubs to create a complete ecosystem for producing world-class games. Additionally, a state-of-the-art complex for content creators is planned on a 50-acre site near Navi Mumbai Airport, where e-sports, content creation, and all related facilities will be available in one location. His MBBS classmate, Neha Verma, asked him to fill the medical entrance exam form again and sit behind her sister Pooja in the exam to tell her answers and help her pass. Vaibhav refused. Neha got angry and retaliated by creating a fake Facebook profile in his name and uploading obscene content, then implicated him under the SC/ST Act, alleging he used casteist slurs. Vaibhav spent 50 days in jail and even took his second-year exams in handcuffs. Despite completing MBBS, the case blocked his chances of a govt job. He fought a six-year legal battle before being acquitted. But imagine the trauma, embarrassment, struggle, and stigma he and his family endured for no fault of theirs. UGC rules add an internal, low-threshold complaint route where allegations can trigger immediate academic or administrative action without rigorous scrutiny. Along with the SC/ST Act, this can be used to escalate pressure and settle scores faster.

And the sad part is the person who makes a false complaint and case does not face any consequence.
