Eze and Madueke signing plus the emergence of Dowman killed his progression at the club, but was it worth it?

🚨 @JacobsBen: “When Ethan Nwaneri signed his new deal at Arsenal last summer, there was a bit of reticence from the player about his pathway & minutes. The pitch to Nwaneri was that he would get game time on the right-wing & centrally.” “Unfortunately for him, that pitch hasn’t lived up to the reality, so I expect him to go. It will suit all parties now for Nwaneri to depart. There is interest from other Premier League clubs.” 🕵️♂️🏴 [@LatteFirm]

@Footballtweet A child is only born once. A World Cup happens every 4 years.

🚨👶 Jérémy Doku could temporarily leave Belgium's World Cup camp to be present for the birth of his son, and the debate has exploded across Europe. 🇧🇪
French journalist France Pierron didn't hold back:
🗣️ Pierron: "Are you seriously telling me these players have sacrificed everything to come to the World Cup, and you're leaving just to cut an umbilical cord? 😳
You're lucky enough to play in a World Cup. It's an incredible privilege, and hundreds of footballers would do anything to be in your position. That opportunity might never come around again in your life.
And you're going to throw it all away just to attend your child's birth?
It's a moment where the father isn't really needed. He has a symbolic role. You hold her hand and take a photo. And then what?
You're going to miss 10 hours, experience an emotional high, and be exhausted afterwards. You can't miss a World Cup.
Some people may have gone into debt just to get to the World Cup, maybe sacrificed everything to be there, and you're leaving to cut an umbilical cord..." 😳
The reaction has completely split fans. Some believe family comes before everything, while others see the World Cup as an opportunity that may never come around again. 🌍
What would you do: stay with your national team or be there for your son's birth? 🤔

I think Rogers + Barcola is only realistic if Arsenal secure a significant sale for Martinelli, something in the region of £50m or more.
Both players would cost close to £200m combined. That would already account for around 70% of the club’s transfer budget this summer, with a CM/DM, RB, and CB still on the list of priorities.
Rogers + a cheaper market-opportunity LW like Tzolis, with Martinelli staying and Trossard being sold, is a much more realistic outcome financially.

Exclusive 💣
Kai Havertz is reportedly on Bayer 04 Leverkusen's radar according to our sources, and this could be a significant move for the player.
However, there’s a stumbling block. To make this transfer work, Havertz would need to accept a pay cut from his current £280k per week salary at @Arsenal.
That’s a hefty amount to give up, especially considering the financial security it provides.
Alternatively, he might have to negotiate a contract termination with Arsenal, which could involve a payoff.

🚨Mark Ogden 🗣️ "I'll give my top three: Chelsea, Man City, and Man United for next season. I think Chelsea have got a proper manager now," he said. "They've got a very talented group, and I think Xabi Alonso will make a difference.
He argued that Arsenal have become too predictable in their style of play and warned that rivals may find it easier to counter them next season unless Arteta changes his approach and signs a world-class striker."
