When an artist buys your work, it doubles the joy of it. It’s like an extra seal of quality—a kind of guarantee of the art’s value.

gm — After several years of creative hibernation, I finally decided to take the next step and get myself in order. I've been wanting to create my personal website for a long time, and I've finally gotten around to it. I'll gradually fix the bugs and fill the gallery link ↴

Supporting artists that are in the top is not supporting, it's maintaining. Curating artists that are in the top is not curating, i's promoting.

Thank you for 46 mints so far! Primitives is a work that emerged from my curiosity. My work has often been mistaken for code-based art. That led me to wonder—what if I actually tried to recreate my work as code art? Conveniently, with the help of AI, it became possible for me to attempt this on my own. However, what I didn’t anticipate was that AI wouldn’t interpret my intentions as well as I had expected. At first, I tried feeding my previous works into the system and instructing it to generate them through code, but it didn’t work at all. In the end, I had no choice but to spend time generating everything through text prompts. On top of that, it took additional time to fine-tune the output so it could be minted on Highlight. I’m grateful to KZ_LAB_E for the support. I consider this work to be experimental. It is not something complete, but rather something still in process. Even so, I wanted to share it because it reflects the time we live in—not visually, but technically. I believe it is still relatively rare for an artist without coding knowledge to use AI to generate p5.js-based artwork. Whether that holds value is up to each individual, and I myself don’t yet have an answer. That is precisely why I limited the mint to a small circle of friends and chose not to set a price. As some of you may know, I have been exploring how to engage with AI since last year. This work is one example of that exploration. In the end, I may return to creating without AI, or I may move further toward AI-based practices (most likely, I’ll continue moving between both). Either way, what I find important is that the artist fully understands both the process and the outcome of their work. As long as that is maintained, I believe any tool can be valid—not just AI. Finally, I want to emphasize that my foundation remains in hand-drawn creation. At the same time, I have deep respect for code art created through manual coding, and I am constantly inspired by it. (In fact, working with AI this time has only strengthened that feeling.)
