Quick story Sometime in 2024, a girl started learning web development and when asked me to teach her somethings During this time, I was at my PPA (nysc) and I simply told her it's not possible for me to teach As I was also learning and definitely not in a position to teach and I directed her to some resources she can use to learn I sent her links to courses on YouTube and title of a course on udemy I told her multiple times that's it's not possible for me to teach her directly Fast forward some months, thanks to the fact that she had a very big network thanks to her being a P2P vendor of sorts She was getting some webdev gigs, I was simply checking on her and at some point I mentioned that coming by gigs isn't easy at all telling her how much of a struggle it is. Next thing I saw was this girl laughing at me really hard, mocking me I was shocked and confused. Then she told me that when she started learning, I refused to teach her and now she's basically doing better than me I was down for days. Even tried explaining myself over and over (stupid move btw) People look at you and believe your life is perfect because you're not showing your struggles. Then you say you're unable to help, they hate you for it and secretly start wishing for your downfall Since that time, I never had any contact with this girl again. Someone I actually helped prior to that way back in 2021. It's funny how this life thing works
