Yesterday was really a GOATED day for me because I spent most of my time interacting with Goat Network and performing various on-chain activities.
I figured I’d break down exactly what I did, step by step, so anyone can follow along and get the hang of it.
➡️ BRIDGING ASSETS FROM OTHER CHAIN INTO GOAT.
After watching @CuzzDave walkthrough on bridging, I bridged some of my assets in BSC to GOAT using gas.zip. This is one of the easiest ways to convert your assets from other chains into GOAT, it took me less than a minute to complete.
What do you do?
👉Open the link in any wallet explorer(preferably OKX Wallet).
👉 On the top write corner of the page, connect your wallet in which you have your assets.
👉 Click on the box and select BSC, scroll down then click on Goat(this is where you're bridging to)
👉 Click on send, sign the message, confirm and Approve.
You've successfully bridged your asset from BSC to GOAT.
Bridging is important because you need assets on GOAT to pay gas and interact with anything else on the chain. So, you can't afford to skip this step.
➡️ TRADING ON OKU TRADE
The next thing I did was to trade the assets on Oku.trade. Here I did various swaps: from GOATBTC —>USDC.e —>GOATED.
Trading on Oku is essential because it lets you trade tokens on Goat chain smoothly.
Oku supports Goat chain pairs like GOATBTC, GOAT, etc.
If you want to move between assets, build a position, or prepare funds for another task, Oku is where you do it.
Note: Ensure that you're always operating on Goat network.
➡️ DIVING INTO GOAT'S DEX(GOATUP.IO)
This is where the real interaction starts. You can literally max out lots of points here by just providing liquidity.
I took the $GOATED I picked up on Oku and provided liquidity on GoatUp. Two main pools exist: $GPLP and $GTLP. I went for GTLP and earned LP points immediately.
A lot of people think adding LP locks your tokens forever. Not here. You can exit whenever you want. That flexibility is part of what makes @goatnetwork stand out. Everything is transparent and reversible.
I've only added little liquidity but I'll be doing more in the coming days cos this is the part I enjoyed the most🤭.
Adding LP is definitely not the only thing you can do there, you can also place a trade whether long or short positions, with as little as $10.
➡️ PARTICIPATING IN LUCKY DRAWS
The Lucky Draw is a game-like point spending mechanic where you use the Points you’ve earned from on-chain activity to try to win real rewards. It’s designed to be an engaging way to use your Points instead of just holding them.
Rewards you can win include:
• BTC
• GOATED tokens
• USDT
• Extra Points you can re-spend
The prize results are shown immediately after each draw.
This will require 200 Points per draw with a daily cap of up to 100 draws per account per day(based on UTC day reset). Points won from the draw (including Points prizes) can be used again the same day for more draws.
I didn't have enough points to grind multiple draws yet, but that just means I've got more trading, more LPing, more bridging, more activity ahead.
By the end of the day, I had completed these tasks and learned a lot about the on-chain process.
Even though you might feel intimidated at first, taking it one step at a time makes it manageable. I also realized that consistency is key: performing these activities daily will really help in stacking points for the draws.
Being part of @goatnetwork community isn’t passive. It’s hands-on. The people who stick around and keep interacting are the ones who will benefit the most when the network matures.
So don’t just read this, Go interact.
Bridge something. Swap something. Add tiny LP. Do a draw. Touch the chain.
Everything counts, and everything compounds here.
GOAT Network is built for anyone willing to learn and participate. Stay active, stay curious, and stay GOATED🐐✨.
