يُعزز معهد قطر للرعاية الصحية الدقيقة وقطاع التعليم ما قبل الجامعيبمؤسسة قطر تعاونهما لإلهام الجيل القادم من العلماء، من خلال تعريف طلابالمرحلة الابتدائية (من الصف الأول إلى السادس) بأساسيات علم الجينوم عبرألعاب تفاعلية وورش عمل تطبيقية. وقد أطلقت اللعبة التعليمية الرائدة أبطالالجينوم جولتها في مدارس مؤسسة قطر، بدءًا من أكاديمية قطر سدرةأكاديميتي، حيث أُتيحت للطلاب فرصة التفاعل مع اللعبة مباشرة والتعرّفعلى أساسيات علم الجينوم بطريقة ممتعة وهادفة. وتمثل هذه المبادرة انطلاقةلتعاون أعمق بين معهد قطر للرعاية الصحية الدقيقة وقطاع التعليم ما قبلالجامعي، بهدف بناء قاعدة معرفية علمية قوية لطلاب اليوم وتمكينهم ليصبحواعلماء المستقبل. Qatar Precision Health Institute and Qatar Foundation’s Pre-University Education strengthen collaboration to cultivate future scientists, through collaborating to introduce primary school students, grades 1st – 6th to the fundamentals of Genome Science, through educational games and hands-on workshops. The pioneering edutainment game of Genome Heroes started its tour at QF schools, starting with Qatar Academy Sidra and Academyati, where the students got to play with the game firsthand and get introduced to the basics of Genomics. This is a start point of further collaborations between QPHI and PUE, working together to strengthen the knowledge base of today’s students to become tomorrow’s scientists. @QF @QasSidra

يسعدنا أن نعلن عن انتهاء جولة محطات "أبطال الجينوم" في المدارس الحكومية للعام الأكاديمي 2024/2025 بنجاح. ويأتي هذا الإنجاز نتيجة التعاون المستمر مع وزارة التربية والتعليم والتعليم العالي، ضمن جهود مشتركة امتدت على مدى عامين لسد فجوة المعرفة في علم الجينوم لدى طلاب المرحلة الابتدائية. من خلال لعبتنا التعليمية "أبطال الجينوم"، تمكّنا من تقديم أساسيات علم الجينوم بطريقة ممتعة وتفاعلية، حيث وصلنا إلى 9,506 طالباً وطالبة في 38 مدرسة. وبناءً على هذا النجاح، وانسجاماً مع رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030، نؤكد التزامنا بمواصلة مسيرتنا في نشر علوم الجينوم، وإلهام الجيل القادم من الباحثين والعلماء في مدارس قطر. We are proud to share that the Genome Heroes Stations have successfully concluded their tour across Ministry schools for the 2024/2025 academic year. In collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE), this initiative marks two years of joint efforts to bridge the knowledge gap in genomics among primary school students. Through our educational game Genome Heroes, we introduced the fundamentals of genomics in a fun and engaging way, reaching 9,506 students across 38 schools. Qatar Precision Health Institute takes part in the Europe Biobank Week 2025, held in the city of Bologna, Italy, joining global experts to explore the latest innovations in biobanking and its impact on the future of precision medicine. Dr. Fatima Qafoud, Clinic Director of Qatar Biobank–QPHI, along with Dr. Marwa Eldeeb, Medical Office Manager at QPHI, and Dr. Eleni Fthenou, showcased Qatar’s leadership in advancing personalized healthcare and public health research during the week’s discussions. #EBW25

في إطار الالتزام بتعزيز التعاون العالمي في مجال الطب الدقيق، نظم فريق من الباحثين في معهد قطر للرعاية الصحية الدقيقة مؤخرًا ورشة عمل في الجزائر ضمن مبادرة "تنوع"، وهي منصة للتعاون في مجال الطب الدقيق هدفها تعزيز التعاون والابتكار وتبادل المعرفة بين المتخصصين في هذا المجال على مستوى العالم. قدّمت الورشة للمشاركين مقدمة شاملة حول المعلوماتية الحيوية مع التركيز على تطبيقاتها في علم الجينوم السريري والجينوم الدوائي. وبناءً على نجاح الورشة الأولى التي أقيمت في الدوحة في ديسمبر 2024، استعرض الخبراء أحدث التقنيات الحاسوبية لتحليل تسلسل الجينوم، والتنبؤ بالجينات، واكتشاف الطفرات، وتمثيل البيانات باستخدام الرسومات والأشكال التوضيحية. ومن خلال مثل هذه المبادرات، نواصل توسيع الشبكة العالمية للطب الدقيق وتعزيز الشراكات الهادفة التي ترسم مستقبل الابتكار في مجال الرعاية الصحية. As part of its commitment to advancing global collaboration in precision health, a team from QPHI recently conducted a workshop in Algeria under its Tanawwo initiative. A Precision Health Networking Platform, Tanawwo is designed to foster collaboration, innovation, and knowledge exchange within the global precision health workforce. The workshop provided participants with a comprehensive introduction to bioinformatics, focusing on its applications in clinical genomics and pharmacogenomics. Building on the success of the first workshop in Doha in December 2024, experts explored cutting-edge computational techniques for genomic sequence analysis, gene prediction, variant calling, and data visualization. Through such initiatives, we continue to expand the global precision health network and foster meaningful connections that are essential for shaping the future of healthcare innovation.
