October 17, 2020 — Today I woke up 23 years old and published in The New York Times. Nothing beats seeing the culmination of all your hard work on the morning of your birthday. Shout out to all the Black women grinding in silence and out loud. Link is in my bio! @nytimes

Ilhan Omar

Literally none of this is true and this woman needs to get help. We have to stop allowing members who are experiencing mental breakdown to continue to work without getting them the help they need. This is an emergency, let’s help her before she hurts herself or one of us.
Rep. Nancy Mace@RepNancyMace

Ilhan Omar mocked the cold-blooded assassination of an innocent American husband and father. She’s supported ISIS. She’s supported the Muslim Brotherhood. She’s incited political violence. And tonight, Congress protected her.

I've never seen a country bomb as many others in just 3 years as Israel has—Gaza, Syria, Lebanon, Iran. Any other nation would be called a threat to global stability. But Israel gets weapons, cover, and a blank check. How long can this go on?

The New York Times now reports millions of Americans are attending No Kings anti-Trump protests across the country. Events in all 50 states. Officials in Los Angeles are calling the crowds “unprecedented.” This is likely one of the largest mass protests in U.S. history.

It’s housing. Democrats should be talking about rent and housing non-stop at every level. It’s tempting to just dismiss this as an NYC problem, but it’s national.

My name is Jack Petocz, and one year ago I was expelled from Vanderbilt for protesting the genocide in Gaza. Today, after a long battle with doxxing, harassment, and blatant lies, I am happy to announce that all criminal charges brought against me have been officially dropped.

حسام شبات
حسام شبات@HossamShabat·
This is Hossam’s team, and we are sharing his final message : “If you’re reading this, it means I have been killed—most likely targeted—by the Israeli occupation forces. When this all began, I was only 21 years old—a college student with dreams like anyone else. For past 18 months, I have dedicated every moment of my life to my people. I documented the horrors in northern Gaza minute by minute, determined to show the world the truth they tried to bury. I slept on pavements, in schools, in tents—anywhere I could. Each day was a battle for survival. I endured hunger for months, yet I never left my people’s side. By God, I fulfilled my duty as a journalist. I risked everything to report the truth, and now, I am finally at rest—something I haven’t known in the past 18 months . I did all this because I believe in the Palestinian cause. I believe this land is ours, and it has been the highest honor of my life to die defending it and serving its people. I ask you now: do not stop speaking about Gaza. Do not let the world look away. Keep fighting, keep telling our stories—until Palestine is free.” — For the last time, Hossam Shabat, from northern Gaza.
