@DaleJohnsonESPN Oh the Ramsey penalty as well while you're at it mate!
English

@_RossMacDonald_ Lines weren't touching, so offside unfortunately. There's always going to be those marginal decisions when onside becomes offside, which will be even more marginal with semi-auto.
English

@DaleJohnsonESPN I meant more Richards being off for the first palace goal. Checked for about ten seconds then cracked on.
Lines weren't even drawn by VAR.
Then spend about five minutes to find a way to disallow the Watkins.
It all feels a bit like they're making it up as that go along. 😕
English

@DaleJohnsonESPN The Cucarella attack on Bogarde which I can understand the ref might not have seen but is exactly what VAR is supposed to be there for.
English

@mckeown_ryan That's not what he's done there. It's a six yard tap in.
English

@DaleJohnsonESPN The prior foul on Anderson is fair enough for the Rogers penalty but this fleeting stuff is nonsense mate.

NSWE were extremely annoyed and frustrated,
when they could'nt change the 3 year loss plan
from £105M to £135M.
They were really hoping to get that through in May when they tried. Quote from Vidagany.
How I see it, that changed the main plan for the....... ⬇️long⬇️
#UTV #avfc🦁
...summer.
I also think, right there, the failure of getting that done, had huge impact on NSWE needing to find money elsewhere.
With, at the time, no more new sponsor deals coming in (or at least enough), our owners had to bring in money in an area where they could. Where they had power to make a difference.
Yes the owners are very dedicated. No football owner buys a football club, and honestly think they can milk it for cash.
The only way to create a successful investment in the world of football, is through success.
And to be successful, you have to win.
To be able to win, you have to maximise the club econommically, to set the club up in the best possible way, to on the field look strong and ready to compete.
They road to success is NEVER pretty.
And football is for most fans a very sensible and emotional part of their life.
Finding the balance between pushing for success and pleasing fans, is like walking on the edge of a knife.
"Its like when Apple release new iOS for Iphone. 1st version have lots of mistakes.
But they are done for a reason. To get better.
And we know it. It gets better.
The reason they release, is to get to know what to change. Part of getting to the end result.
And Apple have some of the best professionals in the business."
There have been a lot of change this summer. A lot of money spent. For the better. A lot more will be done.
A lot of more money will be spent.
There have been issues. But one after the other have been and are being taken care of.
NSWE needed more money into the PSR bank this summer. And decided to up CL tickets. And I dont know anyone who LIKES to spend more money than expected.
Most fans, I feel understand the process. Understand there must be a period of patience.
Revenue will continue to rise, if we continue to have success on the field. That means more CL and with more revenue elsewhere, the posibility for prices to stall or even degress, will be greater.
If we're not that successful, we dont have to worry about CL prices, because they wont exist. And the realistic development would be that revenue also will stall. Or at least the arrow will have a slacker curve.
Our owners are one of the most ambitious owners in world football. They are football people. Football fans.
It feels like some fans think they dont appreciate or value the fans!!? But that is just rediculous. They value the fans above anything.
They spend MAX on the product on the field. They spend max to make sure the players have the best enviroment on and of the field.
They spend millions and millions, and will keep on spending millions, on making sure the fans get the best possible experience when they come see their beloved Villa every second week+.
Some people in general dont like change, and others are not very good with being patient.
But remember as I said earlier,
the balance Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens
are in the middle of right now,
is like standing on the edge of a knife.
Impossible to please everyone!
But its also extremely hard to evaluate,
because WE are FAR from the end product.
Dont forget that😉
Good night💤 / Have a good day☀️, Villa🦁

Espen🦁@espenstrand
Sawiris supporting his Villa, by personally attending, at Adams Park, on a cold tuesday autumn night! That is a dedicated owner!!😍👏👏👏 #UTV #avfc🦁
English

@pascahill @espenstrand So you're agreeing attendances are down. 🤝
English

@_RossMacDonald_ @espenstrand We haven't sold any more than 41.587 all season and that was Arsenal. Villa only sold out all last season once 42,640 and that was against Wolves ironically.
English

@pascahill @_RossMacDonald_ Spot on.
I think the Bayern game would be sold out for tickets way higher than what they are. 2 times.
English

@_RossMacDonald_ @espenstrand Every tenner is 426k, say 50 quid extra is 2.1m x 8 sell outs is 16.8m. £16.8m is not a drop in the ocean. Im surprised they didn't go mad raising money on the bigger matches by increasing the prices even further. Most would probably have paid £200 quid for the Munich game
English

This is incredible accepting donations when your consider their joint salary.
Don't we all want to look our best??
Steven Swinford@Steven_Swinford
Sir Keir Starmer accepted donations to pay for his and his wife's clothes so they can 'look their best for the British people', David Lammy says He says that successive prime minister - 'unless you're a billionaire like the last one' - rely on political donations
English

@brett_walton @StanCollymore When he came in he said I will start by making players sing the anthem.
English

I don't care if a manager sings the National anthem.
I care that he picks a team to compete for trophies.
Yet another fucking weird British media hill to die on at a time Carsley deserves support in a new role.
Get Nigel Farage on the bench as official anthem singer if you're that bothered. Let football people concentrate on football.
English

@RobertJudd4 @YeomanRuth @CeliaRichards0n What power do you think the National Trust has to investigate alleged quango spending?
English

@YeomanRuth @CeliaRichards0n I was misled about National Trust but the point on 1200 Quangos spending this enormous amount of our money with no one looking at this vast spend when govt saying it has to cut pensioners allowances, this needs attention.
