Spotify Made Premium Sharing Annoying on Purpose So my sister asked to use my Spotify Premium, so I shared my login credentials with her. I was listening to music in my room, and the moment she logged in and played a different song, my laptop instantly synced to her playback Then I logged into Amazon Music and YouTube Music to test it, and there I was able to play different songs on multiple devices using the same account. But Spotify doesn’t allow that at all That’s when one thing clicked in my mind: what a genius strategy by Spotify to prevent multiple people from comfortably using the same account at the same time something Netflix failed to do, but Spotify nailed perfectly. So Let me tell how they degine that and also i will could netflix able to build that or not How spotfy able to Do that sync if sync came in your there is two thing that could happen either they use http pooling or websocket and we all know http polling can`t use in this situation so its better to use the websockt If this is the best solution, then why don’t Amazon Music, YouTube Music, and Apple Music apply the same thing? The reason is that Spotify solely depends on music subscriptions, while the other giants treat music as part of a larger bundle. We get YouTube Music with YouTube Premium, Amazon Music with Amazon Prime, and Apple Music is backed by Apple’s ecosystem itself. For Spotify, music is the core business, so account sharing directly affects revenue. That’s why Spotify is much more aggressive about controlling simultaneous playback and premium sharing

6 hours, 15 deployments, 16 GitHub pushes to solve Google OAuth, Vercel configuration mismatch issues, dealing with shitty Hono Backend and third class Turso Database issues. Worst tech-stack combination I have ever used till date, OMG why the fuck do they even exists 😭 Also, fuck Gemini 3.1 Flash AI model, Pro model is way better in debugging compared to speed-up stupid ass Flash model.

I wrote my first line of haskell on October 2025. Cut to today, i have like 20PRs , got my summer of code proposal accepted and get to work with some of the core contributors of the community. I was also asked to write a blog covering my journey. Draft 1 is almost complete and will be up on haskell’s official website . Also fun fact : preparing for haskell also conducts HSoC if they do not get selected for GSoC. So you contributing will never go in vein !!

Let’s be honest about what this actually is, a person who’s been quietly asking for free merch for weeks, didn’t get it, and is now using outrage as marketing. We have plenty of merch. We’re not stockpiling t-shirts in a vault. The idea that we’d run a “cheap marketing” stunt by withholding product from someone we never promised it to is, frankly, hilarious. And here’s the part that says everything: if I’m the one in the wrong, if his version is the real one why did he block me? People telling the truth don’t shut the door before the conversation starts. They don’t need to. Before you speak on someone’s business, try standing in it for a day. Patience isn’t a personality flaw to weaponize. Next time, lead with a DM instead of a screenshot.
