To me it looks like, his right side has the smirk. So that means he wants to communicate that he is unbothered by the process of arrest and even enjoying it, its defiance, but the left side which shows his true feelings, is almost expressionless but showing a satisfaction, stony coldness, remorseless, zero warmth, psychopath, very dangerous. He knows what he did and he is glad he did it.

What’s going on with this facial expression? 1. Look at it in its entirety. 2. Now, look at each side separately. Pay attention to the L and R sides. 3. Are they the same or different? What do you ‘see’? 👀

Most of us drink Earl Grey tea without ever wondering who Earl Grey actually was. He was Charles Grey, a Prime Minister from Northumberland in the early 1800s. Over 200 years later, people all over the world are still drinking tea that carries his name.

@LeonardRobot I think some can... according to the crystal healing framework... obsidian can surface repressed negative emotions and make you feel irritable, also hematite and there are others. (I dont practice crystal healing or even necessarily believe in it but I did study it 🤓)

I was at a healing crystal store and the biggest thing that invalidates this whole science is that there are no stones that make you evil or even a little crabby. All these rocks are very helpful

I read an article decades ago that explained how the right side of the face is the side we display socially. Human beings have an unwritten agreement to always look each other in the right eye, we carry our social expressions on the right side of our faces. The left side shows how we really feel, whether that’s happy, sad, despondent, whatever the emotion is. That’s why they say the left eye is the window to the soul. A person who provides a stark example of this is Bill Gates, because you can clearly see on the right side of his face that he has this sickly sweet, compassionate smile that he wants to display to the world, but on his left side, he has a contemptuous sneer. It apparently happens for all of us, having asymmetrical expressions in themselves dont mean someone is a bad person but just that there is incongruence between what that person wants to express socially and how they feel internally. I remember the article went further and explained how, if you break the agreement and look at someone in their left eye, it makes them feel strangely exposed, they will apparently treat you nicer and be more honest with you.

This is hilarious! Sam Vaknin, a high profile, self-proclaimed narcissist criticised a post I did on left right facial asymmetry in narcissists. If you cover half of their face you see a raised mouth, smiling eye. If you cover the other side you see a grim mouth & dark eye.

Its just a funny but true thing, is cooking potatoes on a scorching day really necessary? Cooking potatoes especially heats the whole kitchen more than any other food, as a kid entering the kitchen on a hot day seemed like a furnace, I have the same memories. I remember going to my grandparents house and I could smell their dry boiled potatoes with white pepper, one of my favourite smells. A few summers ago it was extremely hot, round my friends house (also a mum) she wanted to bake potatoes, of all the things to make on a scorching day... anyway, I do like to ramble.

@vintagestuff4 So they would spread the lard on the bread like butter? Probably nice once you get your head around it.

@mattsutaaki Pleurotus djamor is not invasive to the UK. It requires a warmer climate. You might be getting it confused with Pleurotus citrinopileatus?
