Just noticed that when I take a screenshot on MacOS Monterey 12.1 /w my iPad connected (using Sidecar), the screenshot will show up on the iPad (in iPadOS) to annotate with Apple Pencil. If I dismiss screenshot on either device, it will dismiss on both. Super useful! cc @viticci

All of these folks are buying new Macbook Pros, but I just keep on adding screens to my 16-inch Intel MBP. iPad Pro via Sidecar, 2010 iMac via @LunaDisplayHQ, 2009 Macbook Pro via @airserver and 2012 Macbook Air via Quicktime (actually mirroring my Apple TV).

They picked the worst solution to the menu bar with notch. Why.

So, now it is a requirement that you watch every #AppleEvent with Airpods Pro (with spacial audio). It sounds incredible.

I love the Closed Captions on the #AppleEvent just keeps saying “Apple Event" during the intro.

I just realized that the two tones that you hear when turning off and on the noise cancelation on AirPods Pro are the exact same two chords as the song Twee by Tullycraft. I can even activate it on beat, and it sounds wonderful (and a little weird). song.link/i/21359528

@ParkerOrtolani Why would the economics of the App Store change if they do not change policies. What incentive would companies have for making PWAs/web clips?

In let’s say 5 years, if Apple doesn’t budge on the App Store, I wonder what the ratio of native apps to PWA/webclips will be on our devices…

@ProductHunt Without question, my favorite founder is @EstherH_ and the other folks at @playpokpok. Their orientation toward play for children is incredible. They are also thinking long-term. They want kids to grow, with their app or without it. Too cool.

I do that only widget

I have decided that the only acceptable app icon is a widget (Safari, Messages, and @OvercastFM don’t have one yet, unfortunately. So, they can live in the dock). Everything else that doesn’t have a widget can only live in the App Library only. Change my mind.
