i think one of my favourite things about following @Zcash closely is getting to watch things unfold in real time.
it feels like just yesterday we were discussing the Orchard bug,
now Ironwood has a mainnet activation height.
if all goes according to plan, we're looking at July 28.
that's actually pretty impressive.

PSA: @github banned a friends account because his agents were aggressively using Actions, which flagged a false positive.
He has lost important work because they refuse to give him access to his account or repos and refuse to look deeper into what happened.
Don’t rely on GitHub for storing your work or your critical infrastructure. It can be turned off without warning.

@muratcan I think you could basically extend this meta prompt to less deterministic hard problems than math equations!
Programming is math adjacent enough for it to translate easily but I bet applying these concepts in bio would also yield results!

Wow, this is a pseudo formal verification prompt defined linguistically instead of mathematically.
It was used to solve a formal math problem but this linguistics could probably be applied to solve a large array of problems.
Prompt engineering is getting nuts!

No that’s lame as fuck advice.
They should absolutely try to make a real startup and give a shot at doing something besides being rich.
However because of their family they will have tons of people offering up nonsense funding, partnerships and other support that probably won’t help when doing a real startup.
Any rich kid that wants to do a real startup should try to avoid using their family status on the first one, in order to better learn how the game is played without “yes men” around.
Then when you get good at building and running a company, leverage the fuck out of family connections and play the real game.

PSA to all of the nepo children, heirs/heiresses, scions, etc., you don’t have to pretend like you do something. You don’t have to have a fake startup and waste your and others time to be seen a certain way. The world already knows. You can just be rich. You can just enjoy your money. It’s okay. It actually takes more courage to just live a fun life than to performatively suffer and pretend like you’re self made. There’s no shame in it, it’s actually more authentic and trustworthy. Go do cool stuff in the world, do art, sponsor F1 teams, whatever, but don’t burden people with your nonsense startups and force them to humor you because of your family ties. It’s disrespectful and just creates more nonsense in the world. Just enjoy life and be rich. Have actual courage. And no trustifarian behavior either. Just be rich. Stop pretending.

zcashd will reach its end-of-life service halt on July 18, as scheduled, completing the Zcash ecosystem's migration to Rust-based, next-generation Zcash client software. zcashd will not support NU6.3 (Ironwood). Node operators will need to complete their transition to Zebra and the ZODL-maintained Zallet wallet prior July 18. Only Zebra nodes will be on the peer-to-peer network from that time onward. We've successfully worked with and continue to assist partners in their migrations to bring the ecosystem forward. Zcash is upgrading.

Revolut cuts off your eSIM after 4 months to avoid "bill shock" (???)
That means you'll eventually end up in the middle of nowhere with no data, no way to top up your data (cause you need data for that), literally useless
So you can't ever use it as your main telephone carrier!
I have no idea who is running the eSIM department at @Revolut nor what they are smoking, don't you want my money?

The code is on testnet and the mainnet activation height has been confirmed!
In ~3 weeks the Orchard supply audit will begin and the Ironwood supply formally verified forever.
