Re: Jalen Hurts' preferences in the offense — It's often interpreted as a negative, but one thing I've heard with him is that he's wanted to build more equity in the offense. He knows the OC role is a revolving door — when they win big, that coach gets poached; when they underachieve, the coach gets replaced — and Hurts' presence is the constant. He's wanted to take more on, but he's also felt empowered to (and I'm using his words from before the season here), "take the bull by the horns in terms of what we are and who we are offensively.” ...That's obviously going to need to evolve in 2026 with a new scheme. But I don't think a QB being rigid with certain concepts is necessarily a negative. It's often what QBs in place for a long time do.
