This is a great point via recruitingโฆ yrs past if we could get a young kid an early offer, you were set bc more were coming.. with offers now much slower & fewer being made HS wise, if u got an early offer but your current film doesnโt equal that offer, it actually can hurt you

Early offers donโt mean what they did 2 Classes/ 18 Months ago itโs a Forever Marathon Now better Keep Grinding & Keep Producing

UIL Executive Director Dr. Jamey Harrison says there's no momentum for varsity coaches to be allowed to coach 7-on-7 football teams. "There's always conversations about that sort of thing, but I don't see any momentum behind it. What we have found from coaches in general, again, this is not unanimous, but I think a strong consensus among coaches is that we allow them to do enough. Because, by allowing them to do it (coach), we require them to do it, in some ways. If their neighbors are (coaching 7-on-7) and they're not, they get pressure from their local community like, 'Well, why aren't we doing that?'" "Coaches are working really hard all year long, lots of hours already. Replacing coaches is becoming very problematic for school districts. Saddling them with further responsibilities for which they likely won't get paid, hasn't gotten a lot of momentum."
