had some rate limit issues that were slowing down the mission and we need to be as fast as possible. a local model is amazing because it removes the dependency on external providers and lets you run your logic without worrying about an internet connection or a sudden price hike. it took me about six months to learn how to code from scratch and now i am building multi agent systems that communicate across exchanges like coinbase and hyperliquid you have to be willing to take more shots than anyone else if you want to find the strategies that actually print money in the long term. i worked for. most people think their local setup is fine until the first time the wifi blinks or the power grid fails during a high volatility move. imagine being in a heavy position and watching your screen go black while the market moves against you. that is why we move everything to the cloud to ensure we are never at the mercy of a local failure. i believe that code is the great equalizer because i used to be the person getting liquidated and over trading manually. i knew i had to automate my trading so i could finally step away from the screen and actually live my life back in the day i spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on developers for various apps because i was convinced i could not code myself. i was wrong and that realization changed my entire trajectory as a trader. you do not need a computer science degree to build systems that work for you while you sleep the first step to total freedom is getting your bots off your laptop and onto a dedicated server where they can run twenty four seven without interruption. i personally live on an island where the power goes out all the time so having a server is not just a luxury for me but a necessity. you need to pick a provider that offers dedicated resources so you never have to worry about a noisy neighbor taking your ram a noisy neighbor is what happens when you use a shared server and another user on that same machine starts hogging all the processing power. if your trading bot slows down for even a second it could be the difference between a winning exit and a massive loss. this is why i always opt for dedicated resources with at least sixteen gigabytes of ram even if it costs a bit more per month security is the next hurdle that keeps most traders stuck in their local environments because they are afraid of the cloud. when you set up your server you will get a root username and a unique password that you must save immediately. the server provider usually will not save these for you and that is a good thing for your safety once you have your ip address and credentials you can bridge the gap between your local computer and the cloud using a tool called remote ssh. this allows you to use your favorite code editor like visual studio code or cursor as if you were working on your own machine. you simply add a new host and connect to the remote ip using your root user the real magic happens when you realize you can run dozens of different bots on a single server without them interfering with each other. most beginners think they need a separate server for every single strategy which is a waste of money and resources. the secret to scaling is a linux tool called screens which creates virtual terminals within your server screens allow you to open a terminal and name it something like bot one or trend follower and then detach from it while the code stays running. you can literally close your laptop and throw it in the ocean and that code will keep executing in amsterdam or wherever you hosted it. this is how i managed to stop getting liquidated and started building real wealth through automation there are four commands you need to master if you want to run a fleet of bots like a professional. first you use screen with a capital s to create a new session and give it a specific name. this keeps your environment organized so you always know which strategy is running where when you are inside a screen you can run your python scripts just like you would at home. the beauty is that you can then hit a specific key combination to detach from that screen and go back to the main terminal. you use control a followed by d to step back while leaving the bot active in the background if you ever want to check on your progress you just use the list command to see every active screen on your server. you can reattach to any of them at any time by using the r flag followed by the name you gave it. this level of control is what allows me to iterate to success and keep multiple systems running at once trading is a game of statistics and if your bot is not online to take the trade then your edge does not exist. by using these cloud servers you ensure that your execution is flawless and your uptime is as close to one hundred percent as possible. you have to treat this like a real business if you want it to pay you like one i decided to learn how to code live on youtube because i wanted to show people that it is possible to go from zero to fully automated. it took a lot of trial and error but now i have systems that trade for me instead of me being a slave to the charts. i spent way too much time and money thinking i could not do this myself but the tools are all right there for you the iteration process is where most people quit because they expect their first bot to be a home run. you have to be willing to fail and tweak your code until the system is robust enough to handle the real market. the cloud is just the infrastructure that gives your code the stable home it needs to perform you can even set up hourly billing on these servers if you just want to test a new idea without committing to a full month. this allows you to scale up or down based on how many strategies you are currently running in the wild. i currently run multiple servers because the redundancy gives me peace of mind while i am traveling or enjoying my time stop a system that competes with the big players. i am living proof that you can move from losing money to full automation just by taking it step by step once you have your bots running in screens you will
