@JesterSimone @EpiEllie @LazarusLong13 They make a killing exporting it and refining other countries crude. I don’t see them switching. But yeah with how we are shooting ourselves in the foot with our international relationships it would be a good idea to invest in light crude oil refinement.

@EpiEllie @LazarusLong13 I would understand the whole drill baby drill thing but we can't process the oil we drill. Our refineries are only capable of processing heavy crude not the light crude we produce. Don't you think it would make sense to build refineries to handle the light crude?

No. Laying off national park staff is Step 1. Step 2 is complaining loudly how national parks are failing. Step 3 is shutting them down & selling the land rights to their cronies to “drill baby drill”. This is not a new plan. They’ve literally been chanting it for years.

@ask_aubry Lol, some people really do have a hard time realizing the media they consume shapes their world view. The world has already been subtly and not so subtly teaching girls this for centuries.

We were just told that they won’t let us in. They are denying entry to 2 dozen members of Congress. Elon Musk has all our private information & we have no idea what he’s doing with it. This is happening completely behind closed doors. HELL NO. It’s illegal. We demand oversight!

Anyway he’ll go down in the books as the prettiest mutt I’ve ever seen. Had a guy once look at me in utter disbelief when I told him Percy was a mutt.

Finally got Percy’s DNA results and with no big surprises his largest breed percentage is German shepherd. But lord this dog is nothing but pretty dog breeds. They break down super mutt into American Eskimo, beagle and Australian cattle dog.

@zephycat229 @TheMcKenziest They just closed our therapeutic phlebotomy department at our hospital. They asked the lady who ran it for a list of 3 alternative locations for patients. There was only 2 & Red Cross would only take hemochromatosis pts. We’re all pretty sure they closed it bc its “too expensive”

@_Wolf_Wise This is my fourth hospital in 5 years and I’m so sick of buying all new to work somewhere for a couple years 😒

Interviewed at a hospital and they let me know there’s no required scrub color for the lab. I COULD FINALLY WEAR OLD SCRUBS INSTEAD OF HAVING TO BUY ALL NEW.

Well I've seen the series finale of WWDITS...it was it's usual silliness but also kinda meh. Now I'm trying out this new show High Potential. It's an interesting spin on the detective-consultant theme

@dark_neverland I think it only took a break for the holidays. It’s been a while since I watched something that was airing on traditional network tv and forgot they will just not release new episodes for 2 months for the holidays. I think it should pick up again on the 14th.

@_Wolf_Wise Right I see all of it is from last year 24 so I'm hoping that it did well enough on the network to get picked up for second season. I honestly don't know why people still do network shows when they just release them on streaming like a day later.

@dark_neverland I binged it too, I got so upset when I caught up bc I wanted more.

Welp I ended up binging several episodes of High Potential last night. Apparently it's based on a French tv show so it'd be interesting to compare the two. Sometimes (too many to count) we worsen an already existing ip by "Americanizing"....
