This Chief Alex Ibru In 1996, Abacha sent Al Mustapha and Sergeant Rogers to kill him. Sergeant Rogers shot him in the eye on top of the Falomo Bridge in Lagos. Because Femi Falana facilitated the release of Turner Ogboru (the brother of the financier of the 1990 Gideon Okar coup) from prison and the AG & Alex Ibru as minister in charge of Prisons approved it. 16 years later He died.
