One of our friends just had a baby, and that's how I discovered my husband created a spreadsheet to track our baby's growth milestones, the challenges we had, and the tools that helped. Marry a nerd they said...

A friend of mine lost her dad . She called me in the middle of the night her voice was steady, no cracks, no tears. On the burial day, she was the strongest person there. She literally smiled, welcomed guests, even ate like nothing happened. few months later, she fell into a heavy depress!on and became suic!.dal. Delayed grief is dangerous. If it hurts, if it stings let it all out.

My father was sick last year , so we asked him not to fast but he insisted that he must , he was able to observe 28 , he told us that this would probably be his last Ramadan , we never took it serious, he passed away 2 months after Ramadan. May Allah grant jannatul firdaus to our loved ones who have passed away 🤲🏽.

People think grief is crying. But grief is waking up tired. It’s forgetting words. It’s being pulled into memories you didn’t ask to remember. It’s holding back tears in the grocery store because a song or a scent brought them back. Grief isn’t just sadness it’s the body remembering what the heart can’t let go of.

Kerry Washington just posted her Pilates workout video using Megan's iconic Pilates voice over as the audio 😂 "Pilates is not for the m*ther*ucking weak". Megan really needs to add voice over actress to the resume, she's so comical😊 Queen Kerry always shows her support to the Stallion, love a beautiful girl's girl 🫶🏽💞 (via Kerry Washington IG)

I clearly understand people's frustration with PayPal. Back in 2020, I had gigs that paid me handsomely. I worked with HNIs from the UAE, US etc which made my proceeds total to $15k Trust me the limits on that account was $250k, so a $15k transaction was in order. PS: not like I withdrew all at once, I only withdrew $4500. Then came the bomb. I initiated the withdrawal to my account as i always do, and went to bed.. I woke up the next morning to see an email from Paypal saying my account has been restricted for suspicious activities, my money was on hold for 180 days and that was it. As if not enough, I wrote emails and made calls to the support team. Then came the worst of it all. I reached out to the People I worked with and they communicated to PayPal letting them know my work was legit. My account was then permanently closed and my money was going to be sent to me after 180 days. I trusted PayPal and waited for 180 days, only to get a mail that my money was used to solve the harm against PayPal.. Guess how much balance was left for me? $45. I broke down, not just because PayPal messed me up. But that money was going to solve three major issues, relocating to a new apartment, paying for my mum's medical bills, and a $3000 certification I was chasing then. So if there's anyone who understands PayPal loss, it's me If PayPal is a hook for you, you can try any of the following alternatives. 1. @dodopayments 2. Adyen 3. Square 4. Paddle 5. Authorize .net 6. WePay Stripe remains my best. One reason I didn't add Braintree is that it is owned by PayPal There you have it

I don't think you've really found your person until you meet someone who handles things for you, not because you asked, but because they genuinely care. Someone who steps in when you can't, and even when you can, simply because they want to see you win. No hesitation, no questions, no attitude, just love and effort.

I won’t mince words: earlier today we failed our customers and the broader Internet when a problem in @Cloudflare network impacted large amounts of traffic that rely on us. The sites, businesses, and organizations that rely on Cloudflare depend on us being available and I apologize for the impact that we caused. Transparency about what happened matters, and we plan to share a breakdown with more details in a few hours. In short, a latent bug in a service underpinning our bot mitigation capability started to crash after a routine configuration change we made. That cascaded into a broad degradation to our network and other services. This was not an attack. That issue, impact it caused, and time to resolution is unacceptable. Work is already underway to make sure it does not happen again, but I know it caused real pain today. The trust our customers place in us is what we value the most and we are going to do what it takes to earn that back.

I texted my husband at 10am that I received bad news about my father’s health and within 15 mins he was at my office, had already called my assistant to clear my calendar (before I could even walk to her office) and put me in the car to go to the hospital. He sat with me for 8 hours in an uncomfortable chair, he lost his entire work day including a court appearance, made sure my mom and I stayed hydrated (important), asked questions to doctors that I couldn’t think of, and never once complained. I am sure there are millions of partners who have done the same in a loved one’s time of need but in my line of work it is easy to forget what love truly looks like. If they want to they will.
