@McDonaldsUK I went to your restaurant in Accrington and you missed out putting one of my burgers in the bag. I was most disappointed when I got home. I didn’t get any of the promotional cards either. I’m displeased by this.

@kickingmustang @moving_charlie You have been around a long time waiting for this. Did you always fear the banks could freeze up or was this not factored into your preparations?

I've been preparing for this for a few years now, as @moving_charlie will attest. But now, the thing that keeps me awake at night, is the worry that the banks are going to freeze up & it will not be possible to make the moves when it is time to make them... I hope I'm wrong.

I was very good at football as a kid but hated the game and the people playing it, so never pursued it. Just learned a friend who I was easily better than is earning £35,000 per month. I do wonder if I was a little hasty back then. My lower tier admin job doesn't quite pay that.

@mongrelcelt @moving_charlie Oh yeah I agree it won’t make too much of a difference - might see a few of them higher end properties sell though that have been sat around doing nothing for ages?

@__Gothmog @moving_charlie Even if they do it's too little too late for the uk market. Ex-pats are only a small pieces of the house price correction jigsaw. Too many other pieces have been chucked in the bin fire to put the picture back together

@JibbaJabb @moving_charlie Me and my missus paid the mortgage off on the house we own just after Christmas. We do want to upsize in the near future. Have we made a mistake spending the £££ we had in the bank? I don’t know what’s happening anymore 😆 Not in a massive rush to move but want somewhere bigger.

@east_ldn2026 @moving_charlie Hers was for sale, no buyer at that point. Couldn’t get mortgage with just my salary and the £50k I had deposit. Needed her name on there too Would have managed til hers sold and put that back into the new house when it did but I’m not paying an extra £10k SD for the same house

I think I’ve solved the mystery actually - looks like there are small flats across the road from it with a similar name and it’s just been assigned wrongly to the house across from it. An error on Zoopla then showing the wrong property?

Morning @moving_charlie What on earth do you think has happened here? I was just checking the recently sold prices in my town and I viewed this one 4 years ago and it all appeared fine and no issues - think I actually bid on it too!?
