I love how they lit Nikki’s eyes in this scene. Her eyes were pitch black but with a glint of light. Almost like a demonic entity.

She wasn’t possessed necessarily, freaky Nikki is an entity created by the wish to love Bear because the real Nikki wouldn’t be able to love him that much on her own.
