@TheBurnleyWay I don’t trust anything ALK do. I don’t really care what happens at the minute . Will see how things are next year
English

Said this to a few people already but regardless of what is currently happening at the club, I don’t think they should be making any decisions until they know what Carrick is doing in the summer.
Even if his stock is too high, he ticks every box for ALK.

This should have been discussed back in January ffs! Get him gone, bring back Dyche #twitterclarets

Scott Parker's future at Burnley will be discussed in the coming days, Sky Sports News understands 🚨
English

@ju_no1 @MultimediaJonny I called it last year. This was always going to happen! Scott Parker is not the man to take the club forward. ALK don’t have a clue
English

@MultimediaJonny Not for me. I'll remember him as presiding over the most boring football in nearly 40 years of watching. Even last season we had 12 goalless draws, some against incredibly poor sides.
English

When Scott Parker does leave Burnley, you'd like to think fans remember that 100-point promotion, where he stayed calm early on when the wheels looked like falling off.
Been clear the ship has veered off course for a while now but he's giving it his best. #twitterclarets

English

@ryan_murton I’d take a draw. 3 points would be nice, but think city could cause us a few problems mate ! UTC x

Very upset with the negativity from Burnley fans today - all saying relegation will be confirmed tonight.
What happened to fighting to the death?
It’s been fine margins all season - as the manager has said many times.
That Haaland is no better than Broja.

@JJWatt @claretnbooze @AlanPaceBFC @BurnleyOfficial Very good political answer for “we don’t have a clue what we’re doing”
English

Premier League stability is our vision of success. We’re obviously not there right now. We fully understand that the supporters aren’t happy with the current results. Nobody is. Not the manager, the players, the staff, the board, nobody.
It’s the best league in the world, which also makes it the most difficult league in the world. There’s a team worth billions of pounds who won the Europa League last year sitting in the relegation zone with us at the moment. And I know, there are also two teams who got promoted with us currently sitting in positions of safety. Trust me, I know.
We are trying to figure it out. We are trying to find the best possible solutions to maximize our potential and bring that vision of Premier League stability to reality. Conversations are happening constantly, analyzing the successes and the failures of past seasons, current season, planning how to attack the future differently so that we increase our odds of success, etc.
If I had the magic answer, I would’ve already implemented it. But there isn’t one. It’s a constant balancing act between the finances, the roster construction, the transfer strategy, the playing style, the man management, the culture, the staff, the commercial aspect, etc etc etc. Ultimately you have to find a way to squeeze the absolute most amount of potential you possibly can out of the circumstances you’re operating within. And we are constantly trying to do just that.
I want this club to be something the supporters are 100% proud of, that represents the history and tradition of their great town. The player in me wishes I could train and play and step out there onto the pitch to help bring the results we all want, but I can’t.
You may choose not to believe it, but I care very deeply about this club. My wishes are the same as yours. I will continue doing what I can to make them reality.
English

@AlanPaceBFC @JJWatt what is success for @BurnleyOfficial in your eyes and what is your plan to achieve it? From my standpoint there doesnt appear to be a plan and you are happy for relegation and a downward spiral losing the faith of the fans in a massive way.
English

@eggfrapper @JJWatt @claretnbooze @AlanPaceBFC @BurnleyOfficial You could see this happening from our performances in the championship, and listening to fans of Bournemouth and Fulham. You just knew it was going to happen. Parker was never the right man for this job
English

@JJWatt @claretnbooze @AlanPaceBFC @BurnleyOfficial A blind man on a galloping horse could see in October, November at the latest, that SP was taking us down with his turgid football. The board have been asleep at the wheel, everyone could see it.

6 armed British police officers arrested a man named Lee yesterday at Manchester Airport as he returned to the UK from a vacation. The arrest was made due to someone reporting that they were offended by a Facebook post Lee had made about immigration
English

@ryan_murton My favourite memory of his was that one time we passed the ball sideways 🤩🤩
English

@ChristheViking Clearly was obvious. Look at the state of the club as a whole
English

@__MaRoBr I don’t think anyone’s happy at the moment but last season we got 100 points amd set national defensive records.
Not quite that obvious.
English

You could see this happening last year with our Champ performances and Parker’s track record. It was SO SO obvious. He never should have got the job!! #twitterclarets
English

@Robert_Smith95 Got slated last February for making this observation about Parker. Could see it a mile off from how we played in the Champ! This has to be the final straw
English

For us who have been saying he is shit since last season do we get to say I told you so yet? #twitterclarets
English

@LizWebsterSBF @gmpolice Fat fella in the grey with the most shameful kick. Horrendous
English

Horrendous scenes from Manchester.
Hope @gmpolice clarify why they handcuffed the man who was get beaten up by the Britain First thugs?
English

Gosh this is shocking and truly frightening for the family @WYP_LeedsSouth.

Unwanted visitor at my home this morning, 2:30am police called, take him to local hospital for an assessment. They call to say they don’t know who he is or where he’s from, ‘no repercussions’. I asked what do I do if he comes back? Just call 999 again…
English

@TheBurnleyWay Josh Laurent is not good enough to play the hybrid role he’s been playing. Why is Parker carrying on with it????
