Whistleblower - who's a former Mediclinic manager - claims that the hospitals manipulate patients' medical aid claiming codes. For example when a patient dies in an emergency room, sometimes Mediclinic managers were expected to change the case to an ICU death. ICU-related issues got higher fees.
