You have no idea how much headache and torture the 𝕏 team and Elon have to endure with the EU
The EU really thinks they rule the world. Their entire regulatory attitude is: “Do exactly as we tell you to do, and nothing more.” It's purely a dictatorship disguised as a democracy
You try to comply with one lunatic policy just to get them off your back, and boom... here comes another one, and another one... It's not just for the EU, they've become a pain in the backside for the entire world
Then one day, they hit you with a massive fine and try to loot up to half of your global REVENUE. Not even your profit... your gross revenue
It's pure extortion. Straight-up economic terrorism dressed in a suit

@fonsequism Tennis being reduced to 'who can stand extreme heat best' is getting tiring real quick

Estava atordoada.

Marta Kostyuk gave a very emotional speech about Ukraine after beating Selekhmeteva in Roland Garros
Marta: “I’m incredibly proud of myself today. I think it was one of the most difficult matches of my career. This morning, 100 meters from my parent’s house, the missile destroyed the building. It was a very difficult morning. I didn’t know how this match is gonna turn out for me. I didn’t know how I would handle it. I’ve been crying part of the morning. I don’t wanna talk about myself today. I’m very pleased to be in the 2nd round, but all of my thoughts and all my heart goes to the people of Ukraine today. Thank you so much for coming out. Slava Ukraine.” ❤️
“With this kind of events you told us.. Why is it so important to be here on the court today?”
Marta: “Because I think it’s important to keep going. My biggest example is Ukrainian people. I woke up in the morning today and I looked at all these people who woke up and kept living their live, kept helping people who are in need. I knew a lot of Ukrainian flags would be here today and a lot of Ukrainian people would come out and support. My friends from Ukraine came as well. Very happy to have them here. Not much I can say.” ❤️

@JamesGhani @TheTennisLetter You showed yours long before James, talking down to someone politely pointing out a fact, accusing me of thinking some lives are worth more than others because you were not reading properly or failing to understand, and still thinking you were the nice guy in all of this. Goodbye
English

@__Sabs @TheTennisLetter Wow. Didn't take very long for you to reveal your cordial side. I'll consider our exchange closed. Goodnight.
English

@JamesGhani @TheTennisLetter I didn't say anyone was more worthy though, did I. I factually pointed out Ukrainian civilians are dying and Russian civilians are not, therefor athletes from these countries don't suffer the same pain. Please ditch the condescendence and take a reading & reasoning class.
English

@__Sabs @TheTennisLetter You are unable or unwilling to see the 'comparison' trap you are falling into Sabine. I wish you well. All are equal in the gift of life and none are chosen or more worthy.
English

@JamesGhani @TheTennisLetter Civilian lives on both ends matter, and I understood that was what you were trying to say. It's still nonsense to compare the suffering of Ukrainian and Russian athletes though, because the later don't routinely suffer civilian losses.
English

@__Sabs @TheTennisLetter If you understand my intention, how can it possibly be nonsense Sabine? Do the civilian lives of those at either end of a conflict differ from one another when it comes to tragic consequence? I do not believe so, you clearly must do. Let us agree to disagree as civilised people.
English

@ozdustgal The Netherlands are collectively remembering their grief over Johannes, no wait, Johanna - RIP 🐋

English

@TheSharpeEnd It wasn’t 100 m closer because it was
Targeted. Only Ukraine targets civilians.
English

Marta Kostyuk shows damage caused by Russian missile that narrowly missed her parent’s house.
“If it was 100m closer, I probably wouldn’t have a mum and sister today.”
#RolandGarros

English

@TheSharpeEnd 100m is not narrowly missed, it was going for a target that was NOT her house. You know where was not a narrow miss, the 4 drones your uki bastards flew into a Russian college dorm, murdering 21 kids. Go screw off you two faced bastards.
English

#WNL

@harhanaky The problem with Europeans is they dont have air conditioning. Temperatures across North America routinely exceed the temperatures you consider hot. Enjoy the nice weather and if you get too hot buy an AC unit.
English

@JamesGhani @TheTennisLetter I understand your intention but this is nonsense. Russians do not live with civilian targets being hit on a daily basis.
English

@TheTennisLetter It's a tragic and moving tale. She has my respect and admiration for being a sporting warrior. But I feel the exact same way for the Russian athletes who are enduring the very same pains of a futile war.
English

@mkanapaka @PopovaSvitlana_ @TheTennisLetter So what should she do? Stop playing tennis because her country is beseiged? Never smile again? Dress in rags? Stop wearing make up? There's WWII pics of people enjoying a summers day at the beach in the Netherlands. This is what wars look like.
English

@PopovaSvitlana_ @TheTennisLetter The X translation is horrible here. My sympathies for the loss of Ukraine people. I don't have a stake in Russia/Ukraine war.
But it is hypocritical of Marta Kostyuk to keep using sports as a platform to talk about war, politics. Russian tennis players are not killing you.
English

@__Sabs @jpaternotte Ze mogen zich uitspreken over Israël..maar over Iran hoor je ze niet.. net alsof het zo normaal is wat daar allemaal gebeurt.. walgelijk
Nederlands

@hollyf72l @jpaternotte Moeilijk he, 'landen die bij Europa willen horen'. Geen idee ook waarom Europa zich niet zowel met het midden oosten als met landen aan haar eigen grenzen mag bemoeien, maar you do you.
Nederlands

@__Sabs @jpaternotte Europa wil baasje spelen nou dan ook maar lekker op de blaren zitten… ze zouden zich moeten bemoeien met het verschrikkelijke regime van Gaza/hamas en Iran beter!!!!
Nederlands

@lerrus178163 @TheTennisLetter Poor Russia simply has no choice but to invade Georgia, Moldova, Chechnya, Tajikistan, Ukraine,...
Indonesia

@TheTennisLetter Bla bla bla bullshit. Ukraine shouldn’t have started it 12 years ago and trying to push themselves into nato. What you think would happen if Mexico, Cuba and Canada would join brics ? 🥱 keep that politics ouf of sport or gtfo
