@___chefneko I think going with N5 first is a good idea. For example, the kanji for N5 are the basic ones, but that doesn't mean they're easy. They actually have their own difficulties like 生 or 明 having many ways to read. It's a good idea to take time to go over these.

@atagojapanese according to my 日本語 sensei, i'm able to converse pretty well in Japanese but when it comes to writing&reading - i struggled a lot
he suggested me to go on with N4 for JLPT but since I never had any experience on taking the test i've decided to start from N5 & see how it goes
