The college football GM role barely existed 10 years ago. The transfer portal, NIL, and revenue sharing turned roster construction into a resource management problem: competing timelines, limited slots, real money, and decisions that have to be made faster.

Blessed and honored to join Savannah State University as the Director of Player Development. Grateful for the opportunity to serve, develop, and impact young men on and off the field. Perhaps the most fascinating experiment going on right now in college football: ASU DE Clayton Smith making the switch to WR. The former 5 ⭐️ recruit was on @BruceFeldmanCFB’s annual “Freaks List” last season, which ranks the most athletic players. He’s looked good so far.
