@khamsin I had not heard of this but it was striking the sudden change. I’m seeing my rheumatologist soon and will ask her. I’m stunned by suddenly regaining so much pain-free function. I’ll love to talk with N about this when you visit.

@___j0nes___ N has heard of this! No real clinical explanation except that COVID may break pathways, and if it breaks a pathway that was causing problems, sometimes those problems go away/change after.

I want to share. I had COVID a few weeks ago and the strangest 2 things have happened. 1. Almost all of the pain associated with RA left after my high fever broke (~103F). Why? 2. After having COVID, the existential dread of contracting it I had for the past 3 years evaporated.
