I told you that progress would 'seem' slow and then rapidly accelerate for us. This was us going back to the drawing board, integrating learnings, simplifying, focusing, as well as integrating AI across the board. We are in the early phases of the take off now. Wilder World is shipping releases every 1-2 weeks and accelerating (very hard for an open world game of this complexity). We are focusing on retention, not user growth or monetization right now. Retention is and will continue to rapidly improve over the next several releases. Once that happens we turn back on growth and monetization, with the launch of the economy. AURA is releasing 5-10 releases per day. ZERO will soon follow. It's all connected. Trust the plan.

The last year has easily been one of the most difficult and stressful times in my life. For anyone who knows me, this is saying quite a bit! It's been full on, seven days a week, for as long as I can remember. Beyond investing a lot of time and energy, as well as the sacrifices made over decades, I am also not close to where I would have imagined we/I would be. There are no shortcuts. The only thing to do is figure out where I need improve and do the work. Recently I've noticed my health start to be impacted in a way where previously I could just power through anything. It really has been a wake up call. My wife told me, someone who is healthy has many wishes, but someone who is sick only has one. This really hit me hard. It's led me to put my own well-being and health above all else. To take it seriously. After a relatively short amount of time I am starting to notice major changes. For the first time in years I am starting to feel the clarity, focus, and strength from my younger years. My main non-negotiables have been: 1. adequate and consistent sleep 2. quality time with loved ones 3. daily exercise 4. daily intermittent fasting 5. sufficient protein intake (I am plant-based so this can wreck you if not managed correctly) 6. daily deep work (focusing on the most important things to move things forward) Sharing for anyone who needs a reminder. When you are in alignment with your mind, body and spirt magic happens. 🙏

It's important everyone understands how difficult and complex what we are building is with Wilder World. We have been operating on hard mode for five+ years. If we are able to ship it and it works well, we will have built something extremely rare. Ask yourself, how many games have the following that have ever been shipped: 1. Large open world 2. Full city 3. Multiplayer over 10 people 4. Can explore by foot 5. Can drive/race 6. Combat This is the list. Essentially four games (please let me know if I am missing any, based on the criteria above). It's important you understand this to understand the scope and scale of what is being attempted here.

@real_n3o Appreciate the comment. Yea as long as grind items can be more items sold on markets for WILD I think it will win. My concern is bots infiltrating the barriers and selling off WILD like crazy. Might end up like MEOW if Bots win...

WILD will be relatively limited compared to other items. Shraps are a resource and Shards enable you to materialize in-game items for a WILD transaction fee. As long as more WILD comes in then goes out that will be positive for the token (deflationary not inflationary). It is a valid concern, but if managed correctly will be what makes the token succeed. We want economic velocity, which means WILD is being traded / converted as much as possible.

Quick Update: 1. Multiplayer: We are getting ready to roll out multiplayer later this week or early next. The team is in the final stages of preparation. It makes Wilder World significantly more fun, finally integrating a lot of the great mechanics and learning from the FPS and Racing game into one cohesive open world. It is a major step function change and almost here! 2. Combat: We are continuing to make changes and improvements to our breach mission system that will make the experience more dynamic. As you will have seen from some of the recent imagery shared, we are making the gameplay within the city a lot more active and intense to enhance fun. Essentially The Forum has attacked the city and is invading. Your mission is to protect Wiami. We are working on integrating the concept of controlled territories around the city, which will enable different groups to protect or take back the city. It's the first gameplay mode that I think is genuinely novel and connects everything together in a way that feels right. 3. Backpack: Within 1-2 weeks we will release Backpack, which allows you to equip certain items while you are on missions with your tribe. There is a limited storage capacity, which enables you to make strategic decisions that influence your experience. Shortly after we will add stash and storage sites for deeper / longer-term inventory management. 4. Economy: Scrap and Shards will launch soon, which are onchain items you can trade or use to materialize items in-game. You will also be able to grind for WILD, and we have developed several strategies that prevent bots, etc. 5. Expansion: We are also working on expanding into new neighborhoods, including major environment updates, and new systems like stealing vehicles, police, etc. within the city. -- You can see there has also been tremendous progress on AURA and we are starting to use it to speed up development across the projects. We are currently doing 5-10 releases per day. Anyone using that product knows its rate of improvement is almost unlike anything they've experienced. AURA is turning into an AI hub that will allow you to create and manage agents, as well as build and tokenize 3D assets. As the technology improves, the idea is that these assets are able to be brought into game. Soon you will be able to design and create your own characters / agents, etc., and then to unleash them in the world. We are very excited about this and think it has a lot of potential to merge AI, gaming and crypto in a new and interesting way. 🤝

This is all awesome, but do you not thing grinding for WILD will cause a lot of cheats and dilute WILD even further? Why not grind for shards or scraps that you can send into marketplace where people can buy with WILD? Would be nice to see people to buy WILD to use for ingame purchases not be able to grind for it.
