Happy to share on ChemRxiv our stereoselective synthesis of (–)-eugenial C via MHAT/SH2 iron catalysis. tinyurl.com/578mp2d8 It took trial and error, rational design and even a little citizen science to locally source our starting material (thanks @SDNHM Plant Atlas!!).
