It’s not just the naked lies and sad attempts to save face that make this man so exhausting; it’s the typos, mondegreens, ALL CAPS writing, comma splices, syntax errors and violence against what is good and beautiful in the English language.

I’ve never heard a credible excuse for a pastor not knowing his people by name. A sure sign he’s not visiting, and probably true he believes he can’t. Hard to believe you are capable of knowing God’s word adequately but not a few hundred people by name.

Unpopular pastoral opinion #9? A pastor should be available to chat with his congregation often, he should know the name of the people in his church, he should visit them, spend time with them, and know their lives. Pastors who don’t aren’t pastors, they are public speakers
