For a version of sovereign that means if the US government calls, they’ll block the account of the Chief Prosecutor of the ICC. Shameless.

This is why authentication should be open source & on-chain, so the community can check and trust the code. That’s how Internet Identity id.ai works, a powerful authentication service that meets these requirements. Time to support agents in II?

The little check mark in OpenChat indicated that an AI has verified that I’m human, based on a video recording. The recording itself is not stored, while the verification result lives on-chain and is shared, upon my explicit consent, with II-powered apps.

It’s not a matter of IF but WHEN, you’re going to regret sharing personal data with the big tech. Luckily, for proof of humanity, the proper solution exists, eg. @DecideAI_, powered by Internet Identity (id.ai). And we’re adding more privacy-first features to id.ai soon. Stay tuned!

@pradeep_1123 @dgdg_app I was able to sign into you all, too Please try opening a private browser tab. Sometimes there’s local browser cache that interferes with id.ai right after an upgrade, could explain the issue in your end. Nice site btw

Hi @T3kNoLogicMusic, glad to hear you were ultimately able to upgrade. This is only required once; hopefully the improved UX and upcoming features will make it worth your while. YubiKeys need to be have a PIN to work with id.ai, otherwise your II could be compromised if the YubiKey falls into the wrong hands. You might be able to set up a PIN and use your existing YubiKey, though. Please check which devices are supported here: identitysupport.dfinity.org/hc/en-us/artic…

GM So, after hours of due diligence I was finally able to get my $ICP Internet Identity 2.0 accessible from my PC and from Brave Browser. I'm not excited by any means. - Lengthy, glitchy process - It doesn't use physical authentication via Yubikey - My only successful route was via Windows Hello Key Pin Authentication, which I do not trust nor ever use because those keys are deep in your Windows registry and could potentially be decrypted or brute forced - It took even more steps to get that working in Brave. I don't use Edge. - The learning curve to navigate the IC keeps getting increasingly more difficult. Adoption will never come if this is the flavor moving forward. - "Why not just authenticate with Google?" - Doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of EVERYTHING that was built? I am a senior level technician with 30+ years of experience. If this gave ME a migraine, how are less technical people going to be able to adopt? By using centralized services like Google? I understand wholeheartedly the benefits of the 2.0 upgrade, but the process needs work. God forbid something ever happen to me and my children can't access their neurons.
