While speaking at the Strategic Planning Retreat for the Health Ministry, Departments and Agencies happening at Statistics House, Ms @EmyChelangat informed participants that Communication interventions in the Strategic Plans will ensure that both the internal and external stakeholders understand the objectives, progress made, and their respective roles in implementing the plans, while fostering alignment and support. She further emphasised that, for information sharing and stakeholder engagement to support the attainment of the strategic plans' goals, communication must be data-driven. #PlanningForDevelopment

At the Health- Ministry, Departments and Agencies Strategic Planning Retreat, our Senior Planner for Strategic Planning Mr. @allankayongo1 while speaking about the Institutional Arrangements for implementation of their Strategic Plans, Mr Kayongo emphasised the need for legal, governance, and institutional capacity interventions to ensure effective implementation of the Strategic Plan. #PlanningForDevelopment

Our Senior Planner-Environment and Social assessment, Mr. @_abbeym_ presented the financing framework and project profiling for Strategic Plans at the Health MDAs retreat happening at Statistics House. He highlighted that 70% of an institution's core mandate or outputs should be achievable using Government of Uganda funds.

Today, I am proud to add the 3rd PhD attained under my leadership and mentorship at @NPA_UG. First; PhD Winnie Nabiddo, then PhD Hennery Sebukeera, and now PhD Ssebulime Kurayish, Manager for Manpower Planning. Currently,@NPA_UG has over 15 PhD students at @Makerere.@SKurayish

Today, we celebrate our Manager for Manpower Planning and Development Mr @SKurayish, for successfully defending his thesis for the PhD in Economics of @Makerere. Now @NPA_UG has 12% of the staff with PhDs, making it a better think tank for development planning in #Uganda.
