Hey Texas Children’s Hospital & Baylor College of Medicine, this doctor is putting your Medicaid and Medicare funding at risk. You better think twice & have crystal clear records. There will be consequences for failing to follow the law in the Executive Order. expressnews.com/news/texas/art…

The IRS is warning Americans that starting 2025 they must report payments on Venmo, PayPal & Zelle of over $600. Meanwhile… The Pentagon just failed its SEVENTH audit in a row, as they were unable to account for 60% of their $4.1 trillion in assets. $824 billion annual budget.

Hosting a pre-game tailgate for coach’s spouses to show appreciation to the ones that take care of those that take care of our kids. These spouses sacrifice so much and in my mind - they are the real MVPs. Look forward to seeing & feeding you at 6:30!

I am not sharing the video of Sonya Massey being murdered. I am asking how the cop that killed her got the job in the first place with two prior DUI's & 5 other police departments in the same area showing him the door in a matter of months. He never should have been hired

Heaven received an amazing Wildcat. Lydia Gaines (c/o 1975) was one of the most angelic educators I’ve ever known. She lived her life in Christ & served TISD for decades. She ❤️ Temple like no other & touched our lives in a special way. I’m going to miss your beautiful soul.

Inside Out 2 is extremely relatable for all ages but especially for older viewers. It's more mature than the first, but that's a good thing. It deals with the consequences of letting anxiety take over & proves why we are made up of many emotions. This one hits hard. #InsideOut2

$70k/yr is considered low-income. $20/hr is only $41,600/yr if you work full-time and never take time off. $20/hr only sounds high because we’ve been told over and over it’s too high by the same businesses making record profits.

BREAKING: The March 2024 primaries will be where vouchers in #txed are decided for 2025. Not the November general, it will already be decided by then. Feeling dispirited because of the failure of the #txlege and state leaders to pass safety funding or to increase the basic allotment (which would have funded a teacher raise), then read on to learn about dangers of political tribalism, and what you can do in the upcoming primaries in March of 2024 Political tribalism is unwarranted allegiance to a political party. The leaders in the #txlege who failed to enact any additional school safety or education funding this session, are counting on your political tribalism to cause you to forget/dismiss their failure. They know with this being a presidential year, you are most at risk to blindly follow party allegiance in the ballot box. You cannot do that if you are pro #txed Here is my first suggestion: Vote for who you want for President, but VET every candidate in the #txlege regardless of party Here is my second suggestion: Vote for the most pro public ed candidate in the primary of the party most likely to win your district. Your vote in the primary does not require you to vote for that candidate or that party in the general election. But by voting in the primary of the party most likely to win your district, you can influence the selection of pro-public ed candidates. Most people with moderate views don’t vote in primaries, but that is a mistake. The primary is where those with extreme views ALWAYS vote. Therefore the primary is where the candidates with the most extreme views are rewarded. A failure to protect pro public ed candidates, and to replace pro voucher candidates in the March 2024 primaries will result in vouchers becoming a permanent part of #txed in 2025. Even if your view on vouchers is nuanced, you are still better served by a voucher program being developed by folks who also support #txed rather than being developed by folks who think you are "Educrats" or "Indoctrinators". The Governor has already begun campaigning against those in his own party who rejected vouchers. The Pro-voucher PACS are already supporting their primary candidates to replace those who rejected vouchers. You may not have the influence of the Governor or the money of a PAC, but you do have a vote-so use it in the primary 🙂
