@AIandDesign @Meta Why work in a company like this one, those that stay are likely to be disconnected, most likely to be distanced and perhaps are already delusional on their prospective careeres. This will erode self confidence and become a cognitive depletion.

I'm not gonna lie, the @Meta layoffs are some of the most dystopian I've ever seen. They got told to work from home, they were sent the emails at 4AM in the morning. Those who weren't impacted have software on their computer that tracks their every move, preparing AI to take their job as well. They're literally training the AI that will eliminate their position as well. Meanwhile, Meta is raking in RECORD PROFITS. I am a massive, unapologetic AI enthusiast. Yet, this is NOT the future I had in mind. I wish for Meta to crash and burn. This is not the way. Literally nobody benefits from this.

A great idea if we have somewhere to send children to on a bus outside a major city. Here in Swindon there isn't much that 5-15 can do. Absolute shell of a town and same is true for Basingstoke and many other towns across the UK. What there is is inaccessible by a bus or several bus journeys.

We know that families are still feeling the cost of living pressure, so we’re delivering immediate support. Free bus travel for children this August and action to cut the cost of everyday food. Helping families get through the holidays and putting money back into people’s pockets.
