Along with the letter form my dad, I’ve also pulled out my jerseys which I abandoned in the attic in 2015. I have never personally framed any of my jerseys. After a tragic end to my playing career, the memories, pain and anger the sight of them brought, left me in a worse place.

This brilliant boy of mine has spent two years growing his hair. He was regularly mistaken for a girl and teased mercilessly but he shrugged it off because he had a plan. Yesterday he chopped it off to give to @LPTrustUK so it could be used to make a wig for a child with cancer.
