There’s no easy way to share this. After two and a half years of building, learning, and giving it everything — we’ve made the decision to wind down @peri_labs (formerly @supersightxyz). We started in early 2023 with one big question: Could an AI copilot help people make sense of everything — onchain, offchain, in real time? We called it SuperSight. And for a moment, it worked: • 200k+ people signed up • 70k+ kept coming back • Built by a world-class founding team — PhD (Imperial), MBA (MIT Sloan), veterans of Raytheon, NVIDIA, UBS, Fidelity — shipping at warp speed • Thoughtful investors across crypto, AI, and venture gave us the runway to build We had belief. We had backing. We had time. But momentum isn’t product-market fit, and speed isn’t direction. We were early. LLMs still weren’t trusted in financial workflows, and “fast enough” answers often beat “fully accurate” ones. We weren't able to convert our traction into meaningful revenue. So we pivoted. SuperSight became Peri Labs. We turned to Edge AI — betting that the future of intelligence would be local, private, and composable. We published a thesis now cited in crypto AI circles and built fresh infrastructure. Even 16-hour days can’t fix the wrong market. Last month we sat together and faced the truth: we weren’t going to make it. We chose to close down with care and grace, returning our remaining capital. I’m stepping back with deep gratitude. To every user, teammate, investor, and quiet supporter: your belief meant — and still means — everything. Peri Labs didn’t become the platform we dreamed of, but the mission of user-owned AI still matters. That flame stays lit, and I’ll keep building toward it from a new angle.
