Kuna a generational difference that I've noticed. The youngins say mbona mzazi hajikazi achunge watoto wake. Na older folks say ata wewe sasa umefika miaka ya kuanza kujikaza. The economy says sisi wote itabidi tumejikaza. Who will win?

Two possible scenarios or a combination of both 1. They are hoarding fuel. 2. Panic buying is making stocks run out faster than usual. There is no real fuel shortage in Kenya.
Munjiru wa mbari ya Karanja@wakariowa

Huko Kirinyaga people are queuing for fuel but Rubis is off loading, shell Karatina people are queuing, but on my way to Mukurweini I have followed a Rubis truck heading that way to offload. It's like these OMCs were hoarding fuel.

Why are we taking it lightly that a whole PS has an army of goons on his payroll? 🤔🤔🤔. And that the goons are known by names, and that he even takes photos with them? 🤔🤔. Why are we taking it lightly?

It's one thing to say older devices don't support some new feature or service or operating system. But to make the deliberate choice to brick a device that's working perfectly well, in order to force your customer to buy a new one, is a hostile act of predatory capitalism.

In an email to customers, Amazon announced that it would be ending service for Kindle devices older than the 2012 edition. Those devices will lose access to the Kindle Store. wired.com/story/amazon-p…

International Relations and Diplomacy courses should be scrapped off by CUE. Clearly, these professionals will never be appointed to practice what they study.

🚨let me tell you why Iran just closed the Strait of Hormuz again because most people have no idea what happened today.. this morning the deal was simple.. stop the war.. reopen the strait.. let oil flow.. Iran did its part.. oil dropped 16%.. but Iran had one condition that mattered more than anything.. Lebanon must be included in the ceasefire.. it was point one in their 10-point plan.. Trump called it "workable".. hours later Israel bombed Beirut and Tyre.. Netanyahu said "this is not the end of the battle".. Trump confirmed Lebanon was never in the deal.. and Iran's parliament announced 3 out of 10 clauses were already violated.. so here's what actually happened.. Iran was told the deal covers Lebanon.. opened the strait based on that understanding.. then watched Lebanon get bombed while the White House said it was never covered.. Iran didn't break the ceasefire.. the ceasefire was broken around them.. and the strait is the only leverage they have to prove it matters.. 20% of the world's oil is being turned on and off like a game.. running the worl like a school project.. people are dying in Beirut.. markets are swinging billions by the hour.. and the people in charge can't even agree on what they signed this morning.. these are our leaders..

Kenya is hosting the All-African Judo Games from April 23 at Kasarani Indoor Arena. The problem? Only the athletes know. Kenya Judo Federation has turned a major continental event into Nairobi’s best-kept secret. Zero marketing. Zero hype. Zero online presence. In 2026, this level of gatekeeping and mediocrity is straight-up embarrassing. Sports marketing isn’t optional!

Speaking the truth is not confrontation. The days when people clapped for the president even for belching are long gone. Mtu apeleke ego kwa bibi yake buana😔.
KIRUGARA™@pkmwiandi

One day in the 1960s, the late Dr. G.G. Kariuki sharply and openly confronted Mzee Jomo Kenyatta. Reflecting on it in his 70s, he admitted he would never do it again — disagreeing with your president is one thing, but confronting him so bluntly, he said, was not wise. @methumuhia
