@_aperfectmess_ You try next time, Grilling, roasting, significantly reduces or destroys the bromelain enzyme. Soak in Salt Water: Soak fresh pineapple slices in a solution of 1/2 tsp salt in 2/3 cups of cold water for 30 minutes before eating. This neutralizes the bromelain activity.
