Personally, if I didn’t want protesters outside my house of worship, I would probably not auction off other people’s land inside my house of worship.

These are Jewish settlers in the West Bank, attacking the homes of Palestinians. The world stay silent while this is happening and then calls Palestinians terrorists when they respond. Over 78 years of this nonstop double standard.

This is moronic. Israel is only liberal democracy in entire Middle East with rule of law and equal civil rights for all people, sexes & religions. It has an Arab political party, the Arab party was part of ruling coalition a few years ago, and all citizens (Arab, Christian, Druze, Jew, and Atheist) have rights of vote, own property, contact, etc. All women can go to school, become professionals, and hold office, regardless of race, religion, etc. Of course, Israel has some problems and it's not perfect - no country is - but it is a beacon of political and economic freedom for all its citizens compared to its neighbors in Middle East, especially Hamas-governed Gaza, PA-governed Sameria and Judea, Iraq, Qatar, Islamic regime of Iran, Egypt, etc.

Nobody who claims Israel is not an apartheid state can explain to you from a policy or logical perspective why it is not an apartheid state. The word just hurts their feelings.

@academic_la It’s not a phenomenon. It’s a core tactic of Israel.

While the IDF is engaged in a war on several fronts, it is increasingly distracted by the outbreak of high levels of Jewish terror in the West Bank: 1) Netanyahu, in the middle of a multi-front war, traveled to Central Command headquarters to hear brigade commanders brief him on what needs to be done to stop the phenomenon. 2) The military has deployed two additional battalions to the West Bank on top of that. 3) It is leading to instability in the West Bank among Palestinians at a time the IDF needs quiet there to focus on Iran and Lebanon. Central Command chief Maj. Gen. Avi Bluth warned in a letter to settler leaders that the violence is not happening in a vacuum and could spark a broader escalation that directly harms the IDF's ability to focus on Iran and Hezbollah. 4) The IDF diverted a battalion that was supposed to head north, presumably to Lebanon/Hezbollah front, and redirected it to the West Bank to deal with settler disorder. There have been rising reports of extremist settlers attacking IDF reservists and soldiers, 5) If you see pro-Israel propogandists all the sudden worried about terrorism in the West Bank, this is why. It is proving to be an operational liability in their ambitions for a greater Israel. Settler violence is essentially creating a new internal front that drains resources from active combat zones.

@NicolasR250 @WarMonitors Maybe idk. I think the internal discontent with the government of Iran was always overhyped. Seems like they’re really held it together these past few weeks. We’ve been fed a lot of “greeted as liberators” type garbage about Iran imo.

Iran has a right to exist. Also, they warned they would strike which I have been reliably informed makes them the most moral army in the world. Lastly, the children harmed were used as human shields. Did I miss anything?

The Iranian regime devastated Arad and Dimona by deliberately striking civilians with missiles. Over 100 people were injured, including children. A blatant war crime. Pure terrorism.

@gnuseibeh I think the best plan for Iran was to sit there and accept offensive attacks from bases located in gulf countries.

The Iranian regime has now created enemies across the Arab world. Family and friends from Jerusalem, Amman, Abu Dhabi and Dubai all reported sirens during the night on the Eve of Eid. Instead of celebrating, they were kept awake by the sounds of Iranian missiles sirens. The Iranian regime has demonstrated that it is an enemy of the ordinary people of the Middle East: Palestinians, Lebanese, Syrians, Jordanians, Emiratis, Bahrainis, Saudis, Qataris etc

Now that everyone calmed down can we actually begin to ask how tf Iran was able to even lock on to F-35 in the first place, let alone hit it without flare dumping. Crazy.

I don’t get it. If Hezbollah had flats in this block (unlikely in central Beirut but not impossible) why did the Israelis give everyone inside an hour to get out — including those they wanted to kill? And if there weren’t any Hezbollah people there, why destroy a building with dozens of civilians in it?
The Associated Press@AP

An Israeli airstrike struck an apartment building in central Beirut, on Wednesday. The Israeli army had warned residents to evacuate about an hour before completely flattening it as day broke.
