When I first gained admission as a fresher, cultism was one of the biggest things everybody feared in school. Students were constantly warned, and stories of cult clashes were everywhere. One morning while entering school, I saw a big “WANTED” poster with the face of one popular cult leader everybody in the school already knew. I stood there looking at it when one security guard asked me, “You know am?” I told him, “No, but everybody for this school knows his face.” The man just laughed and said, “Even if you know am, act like you no know am.” Meanwhile, all of us innocent students were being searched seriously before entering the school gate. Bags checked, pockets checked, everything. Now the shocking part Later that same day while going home, I saw the exact same “wanted” guy standing comfortably with those same security men, laughing and gisting like old friends. Omo, I was just confused. If you people know you won’t arrest him, then why stress innocent students and put up “wanted” posters everywhere?

I grew up in a small town where my family never really had much. My dad worked construction when there was work, and my mom cleaned houses. I remember being a teenager and constantly feeling like I was one step behind everyone else - clothes, school trips, even lunch money. I'm about to commit an abomination with my brother in law. My husband’s brother has been making me uncomfortable ever since the very first day I met him. Two years ago, when my husband took me to meet his family, I noticed the strange way his only brother kept looking at me, but I ignored it. Six months later, we got married. After the wedding, I noticed that this brother-in-law of mine started visiting our house very often. At first, I didn’t think much of it, but with time, it became excessive. I even complained to my husband once, but he brushed it off, saying he’s just his brother and there’s nothing to worry about. Now, six months ago, my husband relocated abroad for work. We agreed that our baby and I would join him later once he settles down properly. Since my husband left, his brother has been coming around almost every day, always saying he came to check on me and my 8-month-old son. The problem now is that I’m starting to feel uncomfortable and emotionally confused. I miss my husband deeply, and I feel like the constant attention and closeness from his brother is making things even more complicated for me mentally. At this point, I honestly think I need boundaries before this situation becomes something worse. What would you advise me to do? Above all, prioritize healthy living.
